Hello fruitful mama's, abeg make una comment on this ma matter. I am 3 weeks post myomectomy (surgery for fibroid). For now I am not ttc till the next 3-4months.
What else can I do to increase my chances of conceiving when I am ready to ttc again? Are there any test I should do within these 3months? My gynae said I should not gbensh with DH till 3months post op' but DH is saying he is ready to wait 4months cos he has seen the pains I went thru after the surgery.
Mama's that have gone through myomectomy, pls what did you do during the 3months wait?

Suddenly, all the symptoms disappeared 3 days ago from 5Dpo oooo.I googled tire, it didnt seem to have any answer.
Oh well, just woke up with terrrible cramps, went to pee and lo, AF.
Thus, i am officially out this cycle.
Mehn, i thot i was a hard babe, i broke down in tears. Issokay ooo! I am strong now!

Hello mamas in d house, Please help ooo. So v bn experiencing dis sharp left side pelvic pain for a long time now. Went for scan in a lab twice but d two sonographers that attended to me both said there was nothing wrong and that my womb was perfect but this pain persisted. I finally went to a general hospital on Friday and was able to speak to a doctor who said I should go for another ultra sound and urine analysis. I went for d scan in another lab ( wwith a more experienced sonograppher) on Friday and it came out fine except for a left complex ovarian cyst measuring 61mm by 45mm. The sonographer stated that d cyst is responsible for d pain and I probably experience d pain wen it ruptures or when I ovulate on my left side. Pls my questions are: can the size of cyst affect fertility? How can I dissolve the cyst? Pls mamas in the house answer my questions.

Sorry Dear. You can try Castor Oil Pack Massage and Clean point Tampon or Guaifebao. They should help dissolve the cyst.

Sorry Sis. It's good that you emptied your heart and you're strong now. I do know it's quite painful to see AF especially in a cycle that you were so hopeful. But don't worry God will surely bless you at the perfect time with a perfect Pregnancy, Amen.

Pele Dear, it's well. HWA in advance. Don't let ttc stop ur shine and happiness. @ 4realwoman will add you to the prayer chain. But don't beat up yourself that you ain't praying enough. Prayer is communication with our heavenly father and takes several forms and ways. Take care.

So much tears here these days and painfully, they are not tears of joy. Why do we mourn as if we do not have a God? Be comforted sisters.


One thing i've come to realize in my journey with God is that His time is not only the best but perfect as well. He's the master planner. You think having a positive bfp is the best anniversary/birthday gift but God has a greater gift for you on an ordinary day. When God does His thing, everything is arranged in such a beautiful way that you wonder how come everything just fit together perfectly. Stay strong sisters.

Numbers 23:19 says God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? My beautiful sisters, it is well. Wipe your tears and smile. God will surprise you all when you least expect it.

My advice to all is to stop symptom spotting. Please. That's what makes us cry when af shows. I'm not saying we shouldn't have faith or keep hope alive but let it not get us worked up. When you are in your 2ww, keep busy. Do whatever you can to remove your mind from it. I for one dont know the date of my next af. I decided on that a long time ago. Even when dh tries to talk about it, i stop him. It has helped me a lot. Whenever it comes, i say, you don come? But i know someday it will not come and i might be a week late before i notice. Anything to keep my sanity and help me not to cry whenever i see it. So far it has helped me. Please try it.

omowunmigan, it is well with you daughter of zion (i know you're a muslim but that's what you are) God bless you woman of patience. Woman of faith. God is changing your name. Dont worry, your testimony will shake both christendom and islam. People will come from far and wide to see your children. It is well with you. Just keep strong. Congrats on pulling through. My Dear just rest and concentrate on your recovery. That's exactly what I did. I didn't want any stories after the 3 months wait. Something else I did to help with TTC was to start working on my hormonal imbalance, PCOS and High Prolactin. So if you have other issues, then you can tackle them while you wait. As for gbensh as you call it, you can gbensh actually but you can't BD, they're both different things. Some women start from after 3weeks while others much later. I started gbenshing 1month Post Myomectomy but made sure I didn't BD. My Dr said it was ok, just to make sure belle no enter. So we were careful. If your faith is not against Condo.m in your non Fertile period. That will be a double protection cos you're non Fertile then and also using condom. My DH was also like yours because he was in the theatre during my surgery and I didn't have it good in the Theatre and at some point he was even crying with me. Wishing you a perfect recovery and pregnancy your first cycle trying.

Eventhough, I noticed a discharged from my nipples when I hard breast my boobs. I don't even want to think of gbenshing DH. I just noticed that I developed a phobia for gbenshing after the surgery. Even when hubby comes around to see me I find it difficult to hug him. When he tries to give me a hug I just shove him unconsciously.
On the condom (CD) , I've discussed with hubby prior to surgery whenever I saw AF for him to buy CD so he could use, but he said he can't go to the store to buy it cos he is shy.
My DH wasn't in the theatre but he has witnessed me waking up from 4 major surgeries & so I think the whole thing affected him. I think he is even scared to put me under any pain or pressure. Maybe that's why he has decided to put us on reset mode till after 4months.

God bless you for this. One thing God hates is for us to be anxious. When anxiety sets in miracles tend to be delayed. But we are humans, and sometimes anxiety gets hold of us as a result of the pressure we get from the society. Let's always pray for a calm spirit inspite of our circumstances so as to receive our miracles without delay. May God bless each one of us as we wait patiently for the fulfilment of His promises in our lives.

Alright Dear. I do understand. Your DH is a kind man. It was also like that for me, I lost interest and was scared. The first time after surgery, I didn't have the feeling and just laid there very scared, but after the whole thing, I felt no pain on anything so by the next time I was relaxed and enjoyed the intimacy with my DH. Don't worry, your hormones are still all over the place so you won't feel like it but after your first AF after surgery, things will begin to normalise and you'll feel better. But it will be good if you get tested especially since you were having fluid from your boo.bs so that you can get it sorted. Take care.

Hello beautiful mothers hope service was great. For me today service was a time of sober reflection. The topic today was Thanksgiving and if i tell you i have been doing that im a liar. We as human always look at what we dont have yet and forget the ones we have. We are here asking God for the fruit of the womb why? Because we are married or we have the means to take care of these kids. If we were in our parents houses still single i dont think we would be worried about child bearing. By this time last year i was single though engaged. But the wedding was like an impossibility. Challenges of all types and colours was coming left right and center. My only brother has been a graduate for years with nothing to show for it. It was like my mom was walking under a curse. Nothing was moving at all but today im in my husbands house. The wedding was a surprise to everybody me included. My brother has left d shores of this country and is doing very well legally where he is. But im i grateful? NO! I just thank God with my mouth but in my heart i am bitter cos im not pregnant yet. I just sat in church today ashamed of myself. Please sisters i want us to have the spirit of thanksgiving. No matter how tough the road might seem lets look back cos im sure we would remember dat time in our lives that it seemed all hope was lost and we said to God if only You will deliver me from this we would be grateful and He did. I said to God last year if only You will make my wedding a successs i'll be for ever grateful. He did that and more but here i am whinning and crying for more. That God that heard me that time has he suddenly gone deaf? Why do we always act like spoilt kidss that cry like their parents have never met their needs before just because we want N5 biscuit forgetting the designer clothes we are wearing. Chai i can go on and on and on. I told God to please help me live a life of thanksgiving. No more asking, no more pleading, no more complaining just thanksgiving. Ekele onye akidi ya agwota ozo. Sisters just remember, cast your mind back and remember. Remember the ones he has done. Comon' do not faint do not worry. Is another chance for us to try. Mine came out this morning too and letrzole and injectable. They also said I have pcos which I reject. I won't do any thing for the next two month. Just want to rest. Will be on ovaboost ndmyo-inositol.

congratulations on your successful surgery.
I didn't do anything but rest,eat well and take the drugs prescribed and do the incision cleaning regularly. Mama fvine has said it all ,you can also do the hormonal profile thingy and take medications if the result calls for it. That will give you a good headstart.
My dh was in the theater for the surgery.
Dr said I could have sex after 6weeks but start trying to conceive again after three months. What helped us to keep to the rule was that I had the surgery in a different state where my parents are,so dh had to travel back cos of his job. most men can't wait 6 weeks talkless of 3 to 4 months especially if you bounce back fast from the surgery.
