A Nigerian soldier/member of the Armed Forces Special Force, Francis Adigun (pictured), lost his life during the recent rescue operation of women and children from Boko Haram, leaving behind his only daughter Sonia and her mother.
Described as a loving father, wonderful friend, caring brother, great footballer and gallant soldier, a friend - Adewole Pius Adesina paid a tribute to him via Social media. It reads,

"He paid the supreme price, he gave his life for the freedom of others. While rescued women and girls were reunited with their families, he is parted from his forever. I sit here still finding it hard to believe you are gone. Let us always remember freedom comes at a price and let us also remember those who paid the price. He was a loving father, a wonderful friend, a caring brother, a great footballer and above all, a gallant soldier. Rest in Peace Francis Adigun, I will miss you, your family and friends will miss you, the Armed Forces Special Force will miss you. @seal of honour'

[size=14pt] i want to reveal one secret to our soldiers.

this secret may sound very stupid but believe me its real.


soldiers are not supposed to take pose pictures to show am a soldier! it exposes you to evil. the pictures of a soldier are suppose to be unaware pictures like file duty pictures not pose and snap me pictures!

did you notice that majority of the soldiers who are posted dead always have pose-and-snap pictures of them in uniform to show they are soldiers.

check majority of the soldiers who died in this conflict they always have nice posed pictures for social media!

an action soldier will do everything possible not to be snapped in uniform talk-less of posing for you to snap him!

look at the below first two pics, you will never see an obituary pictures of this kind of guys - cause they are action cooked and are too concentrated and too determined to survive that they don't have time for trivial things like taking selfies or social media crap!

just look at the pics then compare it to the ones dead - and you will see the difference.

the first two are action soldiers - never-say-die soldiers!

the second two are social media soldiers - am not saying they are not good soldiers - am saying they have divided attention.



now compare the last two to the pictures to that of many of our late heroes posted on social media then you will understand what am talking about.[/size]

I can't imagine what these Soldiers go through. The thoughts of going for a war and not sure if you're ever going to return.

If youve ever gone for paintballing activity, you'll understand a bit. Getting shot by the balls that causes just a little sting still makes one fear, not to say severe stings/death caused by real bullets. It's scary!

May the Lord grant their families the fortitude to bear all loss.
