Stanley08: Oga normally 1MB/s is enough for day to day use, I used MTN today though i got 2mbps.download and 2+ mbps uploads. Average thats getting 256KB/s... .. Which worked flawless. I worked from home today... I bet you after 1 month you will get bored with your unlimited internet... I work in an office where internet is unlimited.... What I was wishing for long time after sometime you get bored.. Just Imagine what you will do with 5 Terabytes of data 5 Likes |

Dam5reey: 'Oga', Get bored of Unlimited Internet. LMAO! I'm guessing all u do is Facebook, BBM, Whatsapp yes? And maybe download those 100MB movies from fz. I'm an I.T guy, there's nothing like getting tired of unlimited internet. LOOL! What does that even mean? So i rather have limited than unlimited? Where I'll be checking to know my data balance after every activity. I have ALOT of things to do with internet. - Android SDK updates - Android Studio updates - XDA Developers ROM updates - I never watch any movie below 720p. It must be at least x265 (x264 preferred but na condition). If the movie ain't 720p, I'll wait till its available. Most of my movies are 1080p. - Windows Updates - PC Games downloads/Online gaming - PS4 Games downloads/updates. And system updates - Mobile phone app updates - TV shows updates daily - YouTube Tech Channels streaming - Tech launch live stream Ideally, no limited plan less than 10K in Nigeria can actually do for all i need. If you ain't a tech guy, u might not really understand. Because even people that just love movies so much, the hardcore ones... even they will understand what unlimited net means. On a final note, i think it's really sad that unlimited internet is a 'luxury' in this part of the world. It should be basic. But oh well! 27 Likes 1 Share |

Stanley08: See my type of guy here. Even when Etisalat had her payg plan going, i was busy with the kind of stuvs you listed up there especially with YouTube and you know how much skill you could learn off YouTube. When it comes to movies be it regular movies or series even during data drought i don't go less than 720p and it must be BRRip and i don't even want to talk about tutorials downloads and games. Those who get exhausted when using unlimited Internet don't do much just basic Facebook, Twitter and what not buh don't underestimate our porrn addicted brothers as they've got a fair share of on time. I don't know if I'll be in Abuja soon though buh when im coming I'll tag along my 2tb hdd, my 300whr laptop external battery pack and my Aliexpress gotten 4g lte fdd modem and a couple of racks. That's how I basically roll. 12 Likes 1 Share |

guente02: Lool. I feel u bruv! I don't know how people watch those pixelated 480p and 360p movies. I don't know how they do it for the life of me. TS, CAM. Shiiiii I miss that Etisalat plan oh. The PAYG one. Was doing 2.5MB/s constant then, good times. Facebook, i always forget it. I go on line once a week. Twitter i only started becoming more active on Twitter. Always go to check when ntel announces Lagos lol. Need to get me a modem too. I have like 2 unlock mifis. I think i should sell one sef. Just dat sometimes i use them both lol. |

guente02: Lol. Who don't love good speeds? Well, except that Dam5reey guy that thinks 1MB/s is good enough especially when it's limited. LOL! Which airtel unlimited abeg? iamdutch: Sorry bro. It's not 4G LTE supported. It's HSPA+ supported. I use it for my normal data. Because, 1. I can use my data with more than one device at once (Phone, PC, PS4). 2. On phone using wifi and setting the phone to 2G Only Let's the battery of the phone last. Than using the phone on 3G. The battery of the MiFi is what is being drained more, not my phone |

Something that would not last. Imagine someone wickedly downloading 22gb of illegal data... nigerians have the skills to misuse every good thing given to them.. an average whiteman cannot use 27gb a month and they have internet unlimited for years now. Look at this Nigerian, he was given it for just a few days and he is already thinking of downloading the world.. very unfair! 6 Likes |

Stanley08: As an IT guy you should understand very well that wireless techs as last mile to customers is more expensive than wired techs. Unlimited Internet services abroad are typically deployed using wired services. Check the prices for 4G unlimited services abroad (if you even find sef) they are high compared to wired services. 2 Likes |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Stanley08(m): 7:10am On May 24, 2016 |
LordReed: I don't remember comparing or even mentioning wired or wireless. I just said unlimited internet. Whether it is by land, sea or air. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Stanley08(m): 7:13am On May 24, 2016 |
NigerianScholar: That only applies after the first 3 months of usage. I did mention that. For the first 3 months, no fair usage. Apelex: 3K for 1 week. 10K for 1 month. Even compared to what Swift, Smile and Spectranet are doing at a slower rate. I think it's the best option. If you can get good reception and whatnot. |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Stanley08(m): 7:15am On May 24, 2016 |
redcliff: We saying the exact same thing with different worlds. Because it's not common here that's why the 'opportunity' should be taken with both arms. Even both feet! Because this is Nigeria, we know it can go away as easily as it came. If we are used to unlimited internet, if it wasn't so much of a luxury... Then maybe we won't think of taking it 'personal' while using it. On a final note, I'm friends with so many white tech guys. I know people that use tens of GBs daily. Hundreds on some days. baba11: Yes oh. Stick to what satisfies ur needs. Why pay 10K a month when u can have 4.5GB for like 2K5 these days... Dats what i use on airtel. Sadly, isn't enough for me tho. Hardly lasts a week. 1 Like 1 Share |
