Fayose did not ask the hunters to go about killing fulanis, the hunters are to be on the defensive against the blood thirsty demonic invaders from Fouta Jalon.

As for the police, trust them to protect you at your own risk. Even the military has not been able to do anything reasonable to these "Libyan" herdsmen not to talk of the ridiculous police.

These communities are rural communities(villages) with little or no police/army presence. How many policemen/police stations do ou have in most interior villages in Nigeria? He is the Chief Security Officer of his state and since state governors have limited powers when it comes to security forces in naij, he has to protect his people by any means necessary - no matter how hawkish you think he's going about it. It's his responsibility and the onus is on him. And when it's a case of kill or be killed - anything is fair.
