I think we all should ask the question "what is d function of state governors and state assemblies?" too. If dey cant come together to find a solution then they are super-worthless (they are already useless sha). Must everything be federal? What are the states doing?
First, i am Nigerian and 2nd i support d APC govt and i'd say kudos to Fayose for being proactive and shame on Gov Udom for sayin he needs to run to buhari for something happening in his backyard without first providing a stop-gap solution. Peace

Don't forget that the state governor is the chief security officer of his state and is heavily paid to do it. Allow Fayose to his job instead of looking for grandpa Buhari to carry him on his laps. The FG primarily should fight against people who fight against Nigeria like boko haram, kanu and avengers that openly declare war on Nigeria. Herdsmen are not declaring war on Nigeria, instead they are even claiming to be wrongfully accused. Despite this, the FG has ordered the police and military to help bring a stop and solace to the herdsmen situation.

I don't think you are Yoruba so you will not understand. From days of old, hunters in Yoruba land were also the Special Forces Police and Army rolled in one. They know their duty and don't mess around. If you read the article well, you will see that Fayose commissioned them to attack only those who attacked the community; and not to go around attacking every random Fulani they see. The instruction is quite clear enough. Once again, go read about Agbekoya before you respond to me any further. Our hunters can NEVER become despots despite possessing guns because they are gentlemen; otherwise you will have been hearing of many cases of hunters committing armed robbery before now.
