The roofing sheet is not edible. There's enough food for the birds in the woods.

You mean you can't remember Nnamdi. He's done a lot of work for so many people here.

I'm looking for a plumber as we as an electrician for my build in Elebu, Ibadan.

My requirements are as follows (but not limited to):

@ Good quality work.
@ Willingness to try innovative work.
@ An actual artisan, not a supervisor or director.
@ Reasonably priced, I will compare prices locally. Nothing will please me more than to hire a fellow Nairalander but not at an unreasonable (my word) premium.
@ Prefer someone with camera phone and WhatsApp (I'll cover the data fees during my project for you).

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I have a st.upid boy from Ibadan. He did 95% of NextHome projects including the chateaus, H52, the reserve, Plot 10AB to mention few.

I dropped him when he chose to dine with one of my enemy like Judas.

He perfectly fit your requirement and the added advantage is that he lives in Mokola, Ibadan.
I can vouch for his competence and ability to do the job to your satisfaction with little or no supervision.

Pics: Few pics of jobs done.

If you want encyclopedia of his work, I can mail it to you.

Baba EgunMogaji knew the name termites are called. He can summon them and disperse them at will. Me no get that kain power.

You can even imagine someone who's making top dollar while at war front.

There are some client who will insist they want woods that require no treatment o.

Me, I like woods that are soaked in solignum, black oil and kerosene. The sweet scent it produces in the roof attic help me sleep better for years while at home or away.

Yea, soligum and used motor oil is a no no for me. I work in Healthcare in the US for the past 20 years. It will be a professional negligence on my part.

I'll gladly pay the maintenance fees.

It's about risk too, I think my guardian angel has her hands full already without me adding to it.

No wonder Nigerians have a shorter life expectancy.

But let me finish it like a Nigerian, na baba God they protect us.

Personally, unless I'm buying inside and part of an estate and from a company with a general cofo then I don't believe any of this "free from omo onile" nonsense.

Good luck.

PS: You should really go through a Lawyer (not the one that moderates this section for personal reasons) on this because of the amount of money.

Thanks so much, I intend going through a lawyer to check out all the title, I'm still waiting on the agent reply to say if its got cofo, if it hasn't ill pass, problems with most of the estates in lekki is they take time to allocate and sometimes one has to wait many year for it to get built up, ill take your advice Egunmogaji, thanks so much

Bros, tell our "Bridge Governor" that the 4th Mainland Bridge is just 40km away from us and the new heart of Lagos is just at the backyard.

He just need to readjust priorities for now. Our 6 lanes road should be ready to receive the new neighbours. Let's get proactive!

I got homesick immediately after the announcement.

Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by n3xt(m): 4:29am On May 27, 2016
Someone asked me yesternight "Where will the 4th Mainland bridge pass?" "Which part of Ajah/BADORE will be affected?"

Here's my thought:

For minimal damage and prevention of economic loss, I foresee the 4th mainland bridge coming from somewhere between PAN African University and Happyland Estate or nearby location about 1km to either sides, passing through the undeveloped lands and govt lands around the area, avoiding Cooperative Villas, cutting through BADORE road between Folarin bus stop - Greenville estate or nearby about 500m to either sides and landing at langbasa and then over the lagoon to Ikorodu.

Anyone with a property around this areas should go and confirm with the local planning authority early enough the area for the proposed realignment early enough in order to avoid the story that touch.

Just my thought though. My hunch is never wrong and ongoing activities with that area and especially BADORE to somewhere between PAN African university and Splash Bar further confirms the truth.

Things to check for:

- Government excisions around the areas mentioned above
- Areas where govt refuses to give approvals, consent and CofO
- A large parcel of undeveloped govt land around you which was clearly avoided by the land urchins (Omo Onile)
- Areas with slow growth and development despite being at a prime area.
- Too good to be true land transactions.

Happy Building!

KNOW THE LAGOS CITY TOWN PLANNING OFFICES AROUND YOU

Are you building in Lagos? Or planning to get a land in Lagos? One very real challenge for many buyers and new homeowners is their lack of familiarity with the local area.
