dannyben5: This cos our tradition sees it as a taboo for a girl to ask a guy out. I created a thread saying am crushing on a guy nd pple started calling me names nd insulting me. Why cos is a taboo is not right. But I will prefer those insult than dying inside me wit d feeling. As d saying goes is better to express ur feeling to someone than to keep quite nd die in silence cos of wat d society wil say. Is better to talk nd die than keep quite nd die. 1 Like |

Fifth question If I offend my girlfriend, like a very very serious offense, and she gets all upset about the matter, should I as a guy, keep on pestering her with apologies that moment? Or just give her time to cool down, befor coming to apologize. Note that in some cases, guys think dat not apologizing at that moment would mean he doesn't give a damn of her feelings, hence this second motive. So which of the two works out best in seeking for forgiveness from a broken hearted girl 1 Like 2 Shares |

Cutehector: Cutehector.. You know your babe better and that's why every relationship must go through the "getting to know each other better phase" What rocks my boat could sink yours. Your babe might be the type that loves you pestering her consistently until she forgives you. And on the other hand, she might prefer that you just allow her to cool off ,then apologize. It all boils down to one thing... "Understand your partner" 5 Likes 1 Share |

naijaboiy:more often than not, the make bestie is the guy most girls have as the emotional seatbelt. You talk to him when you have issues with your man and he gives you advice from a man's point of view. It's not necessary per say, but I guess that depends on the girl in question. It's generally not advisable. By 'you' do you mean the boyfriend (lover) or the girl? |
Re: Know Us Better (Girls Edition) by Laveda(f): 8:09pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
naijaboiy: Well, personally, there's absolutely no need for a male bestie when I'm in a serious relationship My boyfriend must possess everything I see in that so called bestie. There's every possibility that such relationship might escalate into something else if she's one who's emotionally weak. I do not advise such. 9 Likes |

Cutehector: Depends on how serious the offense is. Just apologise immediately then give her some space before apologizing again. |

Re: Know Us Better (Girls Edition) by naijaboiy: 8:13pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
safarigirl:I mean the girl. More often than not girls who are involved in this always see nothing bad in it. They think they can control it and that their boyfriends are unnecessarily territorial & jealous but when things happen they begin to look for excuses. |

As a guy in a relationship, most times we can smell a new 'friend' of our lady who wants more than just friendship miles away. Now, if a brother is not comfortable with a new friend his woman has just made and is asking that his woman remove the said guy from her life...BBM, Facebook etc. but the girl is claiming that she can't just remove him because she feels it isn't right and is also sighting examples of the guy's female friends that she has learnt to live with...is she right by claiming the guy is over reaching and has no business with the friends she makes...? Is the brother wrong in insisting that the guy leaves? Or, his woman has taken an interest in the other brother and he is about to be kicked to the curb? 1 Like |

Laveda:Okay...that's cool. But at the bolded you should know your boyfriend cannot possess everything you see. The main thing is if he is trying his best then you should have no problem, cos even you as a girl cannot possess everything he is looking for. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Know Us Better (Girls Edition) by Twaci(f): 8:17pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
Cutehector:For her to be your girlfriend, you must know how she thinks. Does she believe in true but fast apology or one who believes everything should be handled at a slow pace? You must also know about gifts. Will she see gift giving as a cheap way to get forgiven or a sincere gesture. If you do not know either of this, approach her with a humble, not too flashy gift and ask for her forgiveness. If she refuses, go through her friends. If this still don't work, give her time to cool off. 1 Like 1 Share |

naijaboiy:I once read a relationship article when I was 14 and the expert said, having friends of the opposite swx while in a relationship is wrong, back then I only had male friends so I didn't see the biggie. But guys are very possessive people, so, I think girls who think rolling with another guy while in a relationship is cool are immature and need to get their priorities examined If you're with someone, you should respect said person enough to minimize or cut off ties with people of the opposite sex. If your bestie thought you were that awesome, he would've made a move before your guy got to you.... Some girls are just greedy, the more male attention, the better. It gets them high 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Cutehector: The first thing is to apologize(very very important) cause you don't want her thinking you feel no remorse. Then you let her cool it off and then you apologize again and again till she accepts 3 Likes 1 Share |
