I have gotten several enquirers about eggs. Now here is a way out for many who will find this information useful:-
I have summed few demands advanced to me and it stands in the neighbourhood of 700 crates weekly - Now if you are ready to take 50 crates weekly, I need just 6-10 new distributors - I will sum all their demands and the farm will effect their demand.

Sending new distributors who needs 100 crates to Oyo will be counter productive.
First come first served.

At the moment, they sell small size for N650 and big size for N720. It will take N40 to move a crate from Oyo to Lagos - this information is not cast on steel.

Please with the prevailing economic situation; definitely i know prices of crate of eggs have gone up considering the time this your post was first published.

Please, may I know if you have any seminar on venturing into egg business coming up soon or if there are materials you have on Egg Business that will be of help?

As it is, you cannot be sure of prices until you must have loaded your vehicle with the item and heading home.

The increment is getting crazier and the retailers are complaining bitterly, we the distibutors are the ones suffering from the increment most, for example, I got medium and large supply from a farm today at 690 & 750 respectively and additional 30 on each crate as transport fare from Itokin to Ikeja which total cost incured was medium 720 & Large 780 and I supplied medium for 750 and large for 850. Though the profit wasn't that much but atleast to keep the customers because there is serious competition in the market in my area. I wish I can get them cheaper from another farm. Pls always remember your brother incase any cheap offer surface.

I visited a farm today close to my neighbourhood. I have been passing there for long but l don't know things like that exist l only ask one cab driver yesterday is the one who gave me districption. I got there early around 8am, the security told me that they don't attend to customers untill 9am. I suppose to be in another place for different appointment but l have no option than to wait and prospone the other one just for me to be able to book with them. Unfortunately, as l was waiting many of there old customers keep coming in with their empty crate and containers. Out of 6 people is only one man all the rest are women. I chat brief with one woman seated close to me and she lamented that the egg are not enough to meet their demand that, most of them go with little crates and they have group of customers divided into 3 one for Monday, others for wed and friday. I proceed to ask where l can get farm she mention few which were located far from main road and she lamented of choosing the one close to the main road for easy transportable. I have not check those places yet as l must schedule time to visit there.
