Sorry Madam,..but asking you to bring the statement of account of the recipient is not out of order. You need to understand that an online transaction have more than one failure point. it could be at the bank..Or at the receiving bank which is Uba in this case. There are lots of guys out there who lie about transfers and this may be a reason why they need a statement from the other party to verify your story. Having said all that ..6 months is too long to have an online transfer resolved..by now they should have been able to tell you what the issue is and the way forwArd..failure to do so shows them to be incompetent |

Op please go and report the matter to efcc with all this your details and evidences.trust me fidelity will do something because at that point their name and integrity will be called to question. It's obviously an inside job.some of them will know how the money disappeared but they'll be covering up for each other Efcc and financial dishonesty in banks is like pepper to the eyes.them fear efcc die Economic and financial crimes comission will love to take up the matter since it's their job When they come with handcuffs and frowning face and threaten to arrest everyone they see someone will open up because nobody wants to suffer akoba and adaba. NO one will hear of jail and still be covering up for colleague 1 Like 1 Share |

Madam go and bring ur friends statement of account for that period! It can be done @ ANY FIDELITY BANK BRANCH so the person can simply waltz into a branch with his uba statement of account(IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW HIS/HER ACCT BALANCE THUS PRIVACY IS MAINTAINED) The bank NEEDS proof the money actually didn't go in(maybe their records shows it did) since he/she claimed he didn't see the alert/any transfer |

My advice to the op, stop sending mails or calling them. Walk in to the branch, go to the customer unit to explain and if they keep telling you story, raise your voice and complain loud before you know it, the branch Manager will come out to resolve your problem asap.... Trust me....It works! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Oh yes! I have been a victim of defraud from banks. Mine was with Diamond bank. Placed the transfer with the mobile app (MY FIRST TIME USING THAT) to a brother who banks with Diamond to help me withdraw since he was going to use an ATM. That was on a friday brethen, i was debted but the transfer didnt go through. My G not minding gave me the cash from his with hope it was a network issue. I went their branch here in osha, they tossed me like coins. They always had a reason to make them conclude "Please sir, come tomorrow" till i got tired of going there. Now, i have paid a debt i knew nothing about. |

I can't forget the day I decided to use load airtime so that I could subscribe for Internet data using my Access Mobile Banking App. I opted for 3K and the verified and thereby sent, I didn't see any alert or notifications on my phone, but because the money in my account remained intact, I sent another one thinking the first one was a mistake, still no alert or network notification that I've successfully loaded my airtime. All those while, my money was still intact, no sign was given that I've made any transaction, I did another one till the the 7th time. That's how I gave up. When I woke up the next the day, I saw 9 messages from Access Bank. It was when I checked I saw that they remitted the last transaction I did, the rest entered voice-mail. Up till today, that's how my 15K went oo Nigerian Banks need probing. 1 Like 1 Share |

THIS APPEARS TO BE A SMALL ISSUE IF INDEED YOU BOUGHT AN ITEM AND THE PARTY WANTS HIS/HER BALANCE LET HER/HIM KNOW THE BANKS CONDITION YOU DID A TRANSFER FROM THEN IF HE/SHE TENDERS HIS/HER BANK STATEMENT SO THE TRANSACTION CAN BE TRACED AND ALL OF US CAN KNOW MAYBE ITS FIDELITY BANKS FAULT. |

My dear I really feel for u, cause EXACTLY the same thing happened to me with my First mobile app, with first blank, on the 9th of may 2016. How I solved the issue, firstly, I never gave up in going to my bank to complain, many a time the custusmer service centre would tell me they got a reply from their head office claiming 'issue is resolved' while my business associate would say he haven't got the money, I even went to his bank UBA but those ones said it's not my acc. so I cannot check if the money entered or not. I kept pressing, finally, jus last week, they found out that the said money went to a first Bank customers acc. with similar acc. no and name but different Bank. they called; The man and asked if he got so so alert, he agreed and refused to send back d money so they placed a minimal withdrawal on his acc. and sent me back my money. I thank God say no be poor man if not I for just lose;#28,680 for dis our change. |
