tundechange:You are in the wrong thread bro....Express entry thread is where you need to ask the question but i think I can try to answer you.. It is better for you to get reference letter from the two companies, you don't need to tell your present employer it's for Immigration purpose to protect your job in case it didn't work in your way and also the reference can be "To whom" not necessarily address to anybody. You can tell your boss you need to register with you professional body and you need reference letter stating the cic recommendations.. Hope dis help 1 Like |

Hello nls, If a paper route is linked to an online account, will it still be treated as paper route ? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Team16(m): 8:52pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
lawmerchant: @lawmerchant I don't know why you think police report ain't necessary unless visa officer specifically requests for it. So visa officer will call you on phone, please brother so so n so, can you bring your police report, if they need another document they'll also call you to bring it. For everyone running their application listen, Nothing is necessary to submit and everything is necessary to submit. Go to cic website and read up documents to submit and provide every document that you think will get you your TRV, don't come here again to ask if this document is required or not. Submit what will get your Trv approved. Some submit few documents like my oga GeneralSnipper and get Trv approved, some submit every document like my madam Team12 and still receive their Trv. So it all depends on you and your God. The worst aspect is that if you are submitting through paper route during your pre-submission stage. If they discover any document that's required and it's not there, they won't complain or ask you to go and bring it, they'll just submit it for you like that. So be wise o. Finally, most questions here have been answered before now. Please try and read through previous posts and threads, it'll help you a lot. Thanks. Please all these are my personal opinion. No attack me ooh. 4 Likes |

[ Team16:@TEAM16 i concur with you, nothing is important but those things are important.you can as well as well as choose to submit whatever documents you feel like without being advised,it all depends on you and ur miraculous GOD,nd ur LUCK.CIC website stated police clearance as a requirement, checklist also stated police clearance..the truth is what worked for MrA might not work for MrB..its better to submit all you can gather within your reach and rest ur mind while awaiting for the outcome than at last saying had i known, ppl dont know what it feels to be refused visa because its devastating! Ur plans are chattered after all your efforts.. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Nobody: 10:15pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
darefestus:the best, have employment there than saying Unemployed is a direct RED FLAG,that means in ur refusal letter you will see on the ✅ box, "current employment situation"..if one dosen't have employment after a long gap from finishing NYSC.its better you dont apply cos you MUST be denied..if not the refusal term "current employment situation" and "personal assets and financial status" will be ✅ on ur refusal letter..unless u v another alternative means of explaining and convincing the VO what you have been doing with evidential documents 3 Likes |

Skiiiwalker: Go to cic website, create an account using Gc key as if you want to apply online, instead click on link paper to this account and follow the links, fill in every detail as it appeared on your application, thats all |

Hello, please for those who recently submitted their application via paper route, how much was the application fee? Also did you address the envelope you kept all the documents you submitted in? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Eugene83: 11:00pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
tarktmarkto: 1. There's no good or bad way whether online or paper once everything checks out for the vo you get your permit. 2. Well affidavit doesn't hurt your application. If you have the money get it. 3. If employer will also be your sponsor then I think that will strengthen the applicatiom even more. Yes add the leave of absence and letter of employment. Add pay slips and personal bank account. Yes add your registered company and even the bank statement. Since it is your only property tie home. 4. If you take care of your parents then write that fact in your letter of explanation. 5. You have enough time to process it this year I suppose. 6. No worries. It's not your statement of accounts. Without it you can still secure your visa. Your so or letter of explanation is very important to your ability to convince the von of your pgc and previous bsc.make it very very convincing. If you need more help just read the previous pages all the way back to part 1. There's wisdom here my friend. 1 Like |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Damie4real(m): 11:07pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
tarktmarkto:Let me quickly shed light into the questions you asked. (1). From what I've seen here, either paper or online route will be fine. They both posses thesame risk, just package well and pray. (2.) Your sponsor has to swear an affidavit so as to back whatever document and evidence he is presenting as per sponsoring you all through the duration of your study in Canada. (3). In my own candid opinion, I will advice you defer untill January so as to have ample time to get your documents ready. Your must be able to construct a very convincing SOP, and this my guy is no child's play because this is where the crux of the matter lies when applying for a study permit. At this juncture, with your SOP, YOU ARE LIKE SITTING ONE ON ONE WITH THE V.O. You will just have to convince him/her(V.O), and this you really need ample time in order to draft this document.(4). Getting a study leave from your employer isn't enough criteria for granting you visa. Though still include it among the documents you intend submitting. (5). There is absolutly nothing to worry, however, I will advise you get a police character report from from Ikoyi, please. Lastly, pray very hard, there is absolutly nothing impossible for God. Just do the due dilligence, good luck. Please the gurus in the house, I stand to be corrected. 2 Likes |

Good Evening all. I will like to know if its possible to send your passport via courier to the visa processing office (not vfs) along with your passport request letter and have the visa stamped and sent back to you. Take for instance, all applications in middle east are processed in Abu Dhabi,Dubai. I applied online in a middle east country, did biometrics there, did medicals upfront and i intend traveling to Nigeria while my application is being processed, when i get passport request letter while in Nigeria, can i have my passport along with the passport request letter be sent by DHL to Abu Dhabi office for my visa to be stamped and have it sent back to me in Nigeria? Thank you |

@lawmerchant. Please police report isn't meant for paper route only. Online route requires police report aswell, though not by force. But how can one prove to the V.O that he/she is crime free in his/her country of origin? Check the required study permit documents for your local region/country(Nigeria) online. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by opsyF: 11:32pm On Jun 03, 2016 |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Damie4real(m): 11:43pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
opsyF:I paid N37,530. The VFS officials at the counter will aid you to cross-check all the documents you present through the document check-list, after which they will give you a form to fill, package the documents with your passport inside their bag, then direct you where you'll do your biometrics. The woman for counter think say I go leave my change for am,N470. Na 70 buks I come pity her with, if you see the kin eye wey she look me as I demanded for my balance eh..., me sef no blink as I dey ask am... Lol. Goodluck! 1 Like |

slabyuk: Since you are yet to travel why don't you visit there office and have a chat with them in order to find out how things are done. I believe they're in the best position to advise you on what to do instead of seeking Epp here. I doubt it if anyone can answer you, however, if anyone has been under this situation before feel free to Epp. But bro my opinion is do the needful. Call them, email them. Canadian VO, ain't on this thread. Everything you read here are all about experiences, perception, exposure, feelings etc. It may/may not stand. If police can be your friend, VO will be your sibling. @All, IMO. |

PSA: Congrats to those to got their TRVs. If you are coming to OTTAWA and you need a pickup from the airport, you can contact me. It's for free. Preferably weekdays cos my weekend schedule is a little tight. Just my little way of helping People have a soft landing in Ottawa. I benefited from a similar gesture from someone I barely knew.
