Na that one be ur wahalla?

This is what we have been reduced to bickering and arguing about whose name should be on the list and how the money should be more or less.
We must as a people understand by now that these squanderers of our common wealth are not partisan and ethnic drawn when it comes to what they believe in which is looting.
We must all be objective and with one voice condemn these people and their act. If tomorrow a new government takes over and decide to probe only APC chieftains as long as they are guilty of the crimes they are accused of so be it.
Only God can serve justice in one swoop humans cannot so the call for Obasanjo, Atiku, Tinubu and who ever else is considered guilty to be tried by the government should not take away the fact that a good thing has started in the form of fighting corruption.

What will you do with the names? There might be legal issues surrounding the release of names especially as the people have not been convicted.
How can one return money stollen if you have not been convicted?
If that's the case it simply means the funds where not stollen

All these money should be judiciously used and accounted for, setting up manufacturing industries, mechanized agricultural system and technology plus we don't need their names anymore..PMB has done well already...

Government has no business being in business.
It should be limited to-

- providing the enabling environment for PRIVATE investors
- regulations
- TAXATION.

Government should ensure that ALL children are in school to have SKILLED workers of different levels to entice PRIVATE investors

Please they should release the names of those looters. That's what we're interested in.

Look at the tables. The first table is cash recovered. This refers to cash returned voluntarily or convictions.

The second table is cash frozen, these are the cases being investigated or in court. That makes up the bulk of the money.

lets hope the judiciary quickly finishes these cases.

And how much has the Nigeria state lost in the last 1year?something is wrong with our reasoning in this country, chasing a thousand and losing a billion lets stop clapping unreasonably
PassingShot:
And this definitely represents a very minute fraction of stolen funds in the last administration alone. And that was the Administration some imbecilic beings wanted us to continue with. The Administration that wrecked the economy and elevated looting to the highest level.

Just in a year. PMB has recovered hundreds of billions of naira in stolen funds. We can only imagine how much he will have recovered in three years time. Surely, no hiding place for looters anymore.

IPOB touts and ND Avenging terrorists and their sympathizers should just shut their stinking dirty mouth in the course of rebuilding Nigeria. They lack moral standing to criticize APC and PMB.

May God protect Buhari and see him through the task of repositioning Nigeria on the right path of honor, hard-work and integrity.

Shame on PDP really.!

Remain blessed...........if they had released the names, wailers will begin to complain that majority are PDP members.......GEJ's visit was one of the reasons 4 the name omission, he pleaded not to be humiliated in the public after succumbing to refunding cash and persuading his cabinet members to follow suit!

Very Good.

Unfortunately, this fall short of Nigerians expectation. Anyway, we are studying the list, appropriate response to follow.

We actually expect to see something like this...

s/n Names Amount Looted Amount Recovered Explanation

1. Sambo Dansuki $50,000,000,000,000 $20,000,000,000,000 Arms deal

2. Alh. Lie Mohamed $ 500,560 $ ALL Only allegation (Fund returned)

3. Rotimi Amaechi $99,000,000,000,000 No need, now a new creature (Party Chief Financier)

4. Bukola Saraki $Quadrillion Case in court Kwara State fund

Have Dasuki, Metuh, FFK, Diezani and others been convicted? What kind of legal issues will apply to a set of criminals but not apply to another set.
No vex o, I'm not challenging your statement. I just need some education on what these legal issues could be.

King solomon...

It is not vague. There are legal issues with releasing people names like that. This gives a good summary of the progress so far.

That's nonsense. If anything, the main legal issue lies in not revealing names - if a person unlawfully receives public funds and is reasonably suspected as so doing, there is no legal obligation to conceal the person's identity. Indeed, a person from whom loot is recovered has admitted the receipt of loot so their guilt, though not adjudicated on, has been effectively established .

What you shameless propagandists are claiming is that the law somewhat requires the FG to conceal the names of looters who have effectively admitted to being looters by returning their loot. The depths to which some Nigerians sink in spewing mindless and ignorant propaganda is staggering.

The problems with this list are myriad: the figures can be fabricated; monies recovered could represent monies recovered from Abacha for instance. If the FG actually has additional 78bn Naira or $10bn (2 trillion Naira), the latter under interim forfeiture, our cash strapped governors would be knocking on the Aso Rock door instantly to discuss how the money is to be shared. The most likely reality is that much of the amounts touted, like the spun TSA recovered cash, does not actually exist.
