hahhahahahhh..... una sabi worry for nothing oooooowhen lovely contractions and labour pains go dey slap u from left, right and center, till u poo u no go even send if u don poo inside nurse or doctor mouth.i was in dat shoes ooooo dialated 10, pooed 4 times and they cleaned it yet baby's head was tilk high and never engaged from my pelvic, after a whole day labour dat was done via induction, pitocin drip, memberane swap, and rupture, all done by diff doctors with FAT FINGERS..... no show, I was finally wheeled into theather by 10.30pm only for my prince charming to be delivered at exactly 10.41pm......sorry to bore u with my long sermon.......d moral is just don't disturb urself.....anyhow it comes, it will end in praise....

Did you shop thru the mallforafrica app? Almost all mallforafrica stores ship to Nigeria. Mallforafrica also has an e-card or sth like that. You'll need to fund it and use it to pay for your items

My Sweet captain has said it all. You need a mall for africa web card. Which you have to fund to enable You shop from the sites.

Breathing technique was not as easy as google made it look especially when the pain is at its climax. I was able to manage it because I understood my contraction timing.
When contraction comes.. DO NOT TRY THE BREATHING TECHNIQUE , I would hold on to the bed or grab my pillow tightly, when it STOPS(when it stops, you would feel the relief, whether short timed or long timed, quickly, I'd slowly inhale through my nose and exhale through the mouth, allowing all the air to flow out like a cigarette smoke. That way, I would have the energy for the next minutes contraction..

Don't over breath like you're gasping, take it slow..

I used the breathing technique so much that even after delivery, i could feel I was still using it

My ex-boss just told me she's buying my baby a bath tub set that has shower and worth 15k. When i was already thinking of buying the cheap one of 2500 due to lack of funds. It might be nothing to her o but its a lot to me. I'm so excited that expense is off my neck. It pays to have faith in God. I just can't contain my excitement. Chai!

Talking about bath set.
1. I saw one with net on it to hold baby during bath time as a new mum. Has 4 pieces of stuff inside- just bath, bowl. Potty n Lil bucket. 10k

2. saw another one with everything the Nigerian one has, like 11 pieces. made in China . Very strong. White. But no net to hold baby when bathing 11k

3. I also saw the one with a hand held plastic that u fill with water n spray all over baby to have the shower effect. Dunno d price.

Please which one is advisable.

Adeime, just take things easy....
As a newly wed, learn to observe for a long time before acting....as in it saves you a lot of headache in the long run.
There are 2 sides to this:
1. She might be wary of being too forward with you. Like me, I dont give people's children food. If they come to play with my kids, nope. Cos I am afraid, what if they purge? What if they vomit? What if the mother has this strong African mentality of switching destinies? What if their mom beats them cos they ate in my house? And I'm sure their mamas will be like .....that Zaynie sef, she no dey give una food. But as soon as I get a clear from.their parents, no leles.

2.What if she cooks for you and expects you to worship her for that? My SiL can help to the core but she is also very rude and saucy, when I could no longer condone that rudeness, I had to stop her from helping me out. And the rudeness reduced.
My late MiL will not help/ give buy she will not disturb you.

So you can go ahead and ask Mama, " Mama abeg cook soup when you are coming o, I dont have strength to cook/ my food makes me nauseous, hoping that she takes a hint.
Or you just continue to rugged it, afterall in a few months, pregnancy will be over and you will be fine.
