pjthatcher imagine what your onion lecture got me into. Lo has colic. Down to the market in search of yellow Onions. Chai come see eyes wey some take look me after saying they didn't have. One of them asked what I wanted to use it for and I replied for Colic. She quired if I actually meant 'alubosa elewe and explained yellow onion is very scarce that only herbalists request for it. I didn't bother what they used it for. I quickly removed my slippers, put it under armpit and ran as fast as my tiny legs could carry me out of Mushin market This hot water massage issue hope am not guilty of it because i stopped massaging the navel when it closed up. Now lo is 11weeks and has big navel but softens when hungry Happy birthday to all celebrants. God bless you all 2 Likes |

Fabmummy: It's normal. usually takes like 3 weeks to go down completely. just rub sheabutter on it gently. the only time you should be worried is if 1. it gets bigger 2. it forms pus otherwise it's fine. it should be reducing gradually. |

LegitDiva: yeaa .plugged ducts. continue massaging with hot water and let your baby continue to nurse that breast. azin continuously. the breast needs to be drained. (still alternate with the 2nd breast but treat this one as priority) then dont sleep on your chest. sometimes it causes it. and check if your bra has wire and remove it. then make sure your bra isn't tight. if possible especially if you stay at home, go bra-less. . then as baby sucks massage the lump too. sorry dear. |

heavyg: Don't worry daddy, your lo will be fine. Put the diaper under the navel. My son also developed same, when he was born it was absolutely flat and later started bulging. i didn't bother with any massage. he's 1yr old now and it is shrinking. whatever discomfort she feels might be colic as suggested, do tummy time with her. It really helps Don't stress over it, just watch it |

Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by feddy27: 5:11pm On Jun 07, 2016 |
Eminya: Plain pap ke...lol. no nutritional value. Av u tried giving him diff flavors of cerelac or heinz? U knw gerber is really not really sweet, earlier my son also refused gerber. It's now he's accepting it. Also try all the singing and eating along with him 1 Like |
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Eminya(f): 5:28pm On Jun 07, 2016 |
Lol, I even put soya plus in pap he refused taking it too. I have switched to Heinz rice pudding, nutriben and Friso gold. They are all milk based so we didn't have any problems. My in-laws usually tease me that he understands the economy is hard that is why he refused milk 2 Likes |
