Niger Delta Avengers targeting Southern Investors in the Niger delta. by jpphilips(m): 12:41pm On Jun 07, 2016 |
According to Thisday online edition of March 2016, Niger delta Avengers claimed responsibility for an Attack on the Forcados Export Pipeline Owned by SPDC, Below are the highest producing oil blocks that feed into those pipelines believed to have shut down by virtue of the attack and its ownership; http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/03/10/nigeria-loses-300000bpd-to-attack-on-forcados-pipeline/ OML 26 - FHN, Egbert Imomoh OML 30 - Shoreline Energy, kola karim OML 34,53,54 - NDEP, Ibru OML40- Eland oil and gas, Emeka Offor OML42 - NECONDE, Ernest Azudialu OML 18- Eroton Charles odita, financed by, Diamond bank (paschal Dozie), fidelity bank (Peter obi) OMLs 4, 38 & 41 - SEPLAT, ABC Orjiakor . OML 30- NPDC With Forcados hit, Nigeria lost approximately between 250,000bopd to 300,000bopd. Victims; SOUTHERN INVESTORS On 11th May 2016 vanguard online edition reported that Avengers have disrupted flow from the NCTL pipeline, a cursory look at the major oil blocks producing into the NCTL pipeline reveals that Southerners are the hardest hit. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/shell-closes-bonny-terminal-alleged-attack-nembe-pipeline/ NCTL pipeline- AITEO, Benedict peters/Chike onwujekwe OML 24- Pan ocean Festus Fadeyi and Energia, Chief AK Horsefall /Felix Amieyeofori OML 29-AITEO, Benedict peters/Chike onwujekwe OML 24-New cross/Energia, Chief AK Horsefall. On 29th May barely 2 weeks after the NCTL bombing, the Vanguard news announced the bombing of Ogbaimbiri–Tebidaba pipeline by the Niger delta Avengers, below is the ownership structure of oil blocks producing into that Export line. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/militants-shift-attack-bayelsa-bomb-agip-gas-pipeline/ OML 60- Agip/Oando Since the attacks began, Nigeria has lost over 800,000bbls of crude according to the Nigerian oil minister ibe Kachikwu, this volume represents nearly 60% of Nigeria's daily oil production. from 2.2mbopd down to 1.2mbopd. Before the Attacks, the Niger delta Avengers announced on their website that their attacks are premised on the inequality/unfair distribution of oil blocks and further alleged that 85% of the blocks are assigned to Northerners. The biggest puzzle Nigerians need to decipher at this verge is, how can Nigeria lose 50% of its production, yet no Northerner has been hard hit so far, when they are presumed to control 85% of the oil blocks? Are we falling victim to a carefully orchestrated scam? You are such a liar. Why not post the whole information? Beside, from where u got the info, you know the rest of infos there so nothing is CHANGING 1. Mike adenuga’s Conoil controls and operates Six (6) oil blocs and exports about 500,000 barrels of crude oil daily. These 6 oil bloc worth $500 billion Dollars. From our analysis above, 90% oil blocs are allocated to individuals from northern Nigeria and some confused elements from the region are calling the Niger Delta Avengers names, some are calling us criminals. Our question to these groups of individuals calling us names are; where were you when all these atrocities were happening to the people of the Niger Delta? IT’S A PITY. To owners and operators of these oil blocs in our region the Niger Delta Avengers is giving you two weeks ultimatum to shut down your operations and evacuates your staff. If at the end of the ultimatum and you still operating. We will blow up all the locations. It will be bloody. So just shut down your operations and leave. There is rumor that oil has been discovered in the North East. How will you feel if this found oil is been managed by Niger Deltans. We are very sure the Niger deltans wont even have 2% oil bloc if oil is really found in the Northeast. If you didn’t shut down we will shut your stations permanently for you. 25 Likes 3 Shares |

smarthG: I am yet to see why you tagged the OP a liar. You did not write anything to support your claim. He said, if the battle is against Northern Oil block owners, why attack pipelines from Blocks managed by South Eastern and South Southern people first. There is something very fishy about the whole thing. The easiest way for terrorism to get support and grow is by using religious, ethnic or tribal sentiments to cloud people's judgment. We know Northerners own Crude Oil blocks. The question is, why are the NDA targeting pipelines from Southern Crude Oil block owners? 18 Likes |

CyberTerrorist:Accepted. We all want True Federalism nay resource control, but why is that the Northern Oil Block owners like Atiku, TY Danjuma, Daribe etc havent been affected by the Militants attacks? Why are the Militants blowing up pipeline connected to oil blocks that are majorly owned by Southerners? Both questions are what the OP's article posits 1 Like |

Op you are a liar and economical with the truth... The affected wells is affecting the whole Nigeria and not just the Igbos like you are portraying it... Turning the Igbos against ND will be a futile mission as Igbos are wise and enlightened since the days of lugard... SS and SE are one... We support the ND. Resource control or bomb the whole oil facilities shiit. Nigeria will bear the burnt not only igbos Op you failed... Wait till when the economy bites you more harder Yet to see the sheriff in town... Lol, see the mumu listing igbos only to cause disaffection, i though igbos only sell fake goods in their 4 x 4 kiosks?? Those igbos formed their oil companies with their sweat, it is totally different from owning oil blocks and making billions while sleeping. These igbo companies operate one the oil blocks own by northerners which is injustice to Niger delta. the royalties from the companies should go to owners of the land instead and we support Niger delta in their agitation towards that 7 Likes |

OP is being economical with the truth on the ownership of some of those assets. As an example OML 18 isn't owned perse by Charles rather by Onajite and Brume, formerly managed by Chima Ibeneche from SNEPCO, though Charles is on the board, NCTL / AITEO is not owned by Chike from SNEPCO but he happens to be an appointee to set up the company as well. Present facts the way they are if you need to, rather than presenting them in a way that they cynically try to prove your point. 5 Likes |

EasternActivist:pfffffffff The Militants gave Abubakar Atiku a two week ultimatum to vacate his assests from the Niger Delta, but as at today, Atiku's Oil Company, INTELS Logistics still remain unscathed. I have my tacit support for the militants demand for resource control and I wouldnt disapprove any means they employ in acheiving that, but I am perturbed that most of their target have not been against the people they marked as enemies 4 Likes |

EasternActivist: Burn your farmlands and houses to push your struggle. Instead of telling the Niger Deltans to destroy their lands to support your struggle. The last thing we need is for corrupt people to use bigotry to drive our people into a suicide mission. We shine our eyes before stepping. It might be a landmine in front. So far, these NDA are not actually fighting for the Niger Delta if their targets are installations owned by Southerners. We have suffered a lot and it is getting better. We have a Ministry, we get high allocations, we get 13% derivation from Crude Sales. I do not see the so called reason to lead our people to slaughter. Let us look before leaping. What is hypocrisy about what I said? You are blinded by bigotry, that is why you want us to blow ourselves without caring if it is us the Southerners we are killing. 6 Likes |
