i bought one on ebay sometimes ago about 300usd.. its has an app as well, doesnt really work well after installation.


great to have a device with an app... that you will be able to monitor your home at ago. just like having a cctv installed with remote view.

whole house automation is really taking shape nicely now.. like of CONTROL 4, where you can control everything in your house via an APP.

there are lots of smoke detector here that uses batteries... disadvantage is that if you forgot to change the batteries over time, it can damage the device...

i have seen nest that oga egun posted look nice to me and very simple too .

here for multi dwelling apartment we are used to either addressable or conventional wired type.

but for a bungalow or a duplex stand alone wireless detector will do just fine...

I'm trying to purchase this land property from Opic. The place is called New Makun City. I like the location cos its a strategic point for someone like myself that love country living. I'm original from Ilishan right opposite ikenne; and not working or living in Naija full time, i think that location, which is just before the Sagamu/Ore interchange, can be a nice location for a weekend/retirement gate-away house for our family.

As always, the problems with this process is the NIGERIAN WAY OF DOING THINGS; i just find it difficult to give my hard earned money to someone in anticipation of get a land in the near future. I was thinking that by dealing with GOVERNMENT, i will be shielded from fraudulent practices. Nope, i was wrong again!!!

I love the 140db........will disrupt the shyte of any intruder. To be honest, too high a fence and totally enclosed fenced in Nigeria is not encouraged.........Robbers could lay siege inside without neighbours being aware. A see-through fence with high railings is more effective.

I agree 100%. My fence will be high, but completely see through. I'm using wrought-iron, not blocks.
