Atiku is just suffering himself. Saraki has a brighter chance of winning the Presidency than Atiku. He cannot be elected as President in this generation. Maybe he should attempt that in the next generation! 2 Likes 1 Share |

18SNVL: We can't vote the man called GEJ out in 2015 and bring in a man called Atiku come 2019. The differences between them ain't that much. As usual, as a thief, he would give access to treasury looters to loot our treasury just like the last administration if we mistakenly vote him in. 7 Likes |

donphilopus:This was the same thing people said about Buhari before he was elected at his fourth trial. As long as people possess the sovereign right to choose their leader, nobody, most especially a heavyweight politician like Atiku, should be written off. He is eminently qualified for the post and has an inalienable right to seek the highest office in the land. You can decide not to cast your vote for him if he throws his hat into the ring, but to write him off is sheer tomfoolery. 2 Likes |
Re: by donphilopus: 2:02pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
bejeiodus: I ain't writing him off. Tell me which political party in their wisdom would offer their ticket to somebody like Atiku! If he thinks he can become President of Nigeria by contesting under a small party, then he's just kidding (JK). Buhari's image brought him back. Now tell me what can bring Atiku close to the Presidency?! 1 Like |

omenka:When did it become a crime to be ambitious? Is Atiku not better than the man you waste your time trying to defend? Atiku will contest the 2019 Presidential election, and men like you can do nothing to stop him. |

Atiku 2019 is a joke taken too far. Atiku will never smell the presidency. 1 Like |
Re: by Nobody: 2:18pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
donphilopus:Atiku has a cosmopolitan image and that is an advantage. There is no northern politician that is as popular in the South as Atiku. Check is list of staff. It is as varied as the nation. He is married to women from different parts of the country. He has friends from all walks of life. He is moderately religious, he is flexible in his approach to issues, etc. Tell me, are these not endearing qualities? It is too early to engage in political permutations, but take this from me, Atiku will contest the 2019 Presidential election under the platform of a foremost party. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: by donphilopus: 2:27pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
bejeiodus: The APC that I know can and will never give their ticket to a man like Atiku. He has friends from all walks of life. Cool! But that doesn't mean anything in his political CV. I would be glad if your party (PDP) can risk giving their ticket to Atiku against a Buhari's APC ticket so we can see the outcome of the polls. BTW, I saw something like 'Atiku is better than the man presently occupying the seat of power' by you. Can you please tell us how?! For opposing OBJ's 3rd term agenda?! Atiku just like Saraki, would always waste his money to contest Election to the Presidency; they can't get there! 1 Like |
Re: by Nobody: 2:27pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
18SNVL:Atiku is a calculating politician who understands politics more than you do. It is his inalienable right to seek to lead his people; it is also their inalienable right to choose or reject him. If his ambition nauseates you, you can make that known by not voting for him. Your malicious alarm will not stop those who believe in his ability to lead this nation from voting for him. |

donphilopus:Twenty four hours is a long time in politics not to talk of three years. There is going to be an alignment of interests as the race heats up. So it is too early to say where Atiku will perch his Presidential ambition. It doesn't take much brain to understand why Atiku is better than Buhari. His adequate understanding of issues bedevilling this nation is just one of the many ways he is better than the incumbent. |

bejeiodus: And who told you Buhari doesn't have more than adequate understanding of the issues bedeviling this nation?! I find it ridiculous seeing the people who can't manage their immediate nuclear family trynna lecture Buhari on how to manage this country. How far na? Fayose, the knower of it all is finding it difficult to govern Ekiti State yet he attacks Buhari always. You may not be different from him! 1 Like |

Re: by Nobody: 3:56pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
donphilopus:Buhari's "adequate understanding" of issues besetting this nation has really manifested in the giant leap in all facets of our national life--electricity supply is now excellent, oil production has improved tremendously, graduates now have more than one job, herdsmen now live peacefully with their hosts, IPOD and MASSOB no longer want out of Nigeria, every Nigerian is now well secured, and a host of other good things that have happened to Nigeria since Buhari came on board....My man, you need to wake up from this CHANGE induced delusion. |

bejeiodus: You're the deluded one here Mr Man. We know how some embittered Ugandans like you are trying everything possible to sabotage the efforts of this Government. Why didn't we hear about IPOD when GEJ was there? Why have they suddenly realized that they need to secede? In terms of security, even a fool wouldn't come both leaders because it's visible to the blind. Most peeps who left their hood their Jonathan's time due to Boko Haram attacks have started returning and you're here shouting Atiku?! Whether Ugandans like you like it or not, this Government shall succeed. We've not yet arrived but we're getting there! |
