I heard Kane was the one taking corner kicks tonight.

When i said no difference between Hodgson and LVG, i knew what i was saying.

Sterling isn't better than Shaun-Wright Philips!!

The guy plays secondary school ball.

Hogson also is a useless coach with his subs.

England fell my hand. I want them to prove critics wrong but look at how they started. Although they dominated completely.

I blame Hart for that goal. Where else was that header going? It had only one destination and Hart was a spectator. Smalling and Cahill went to same direction, else one of them should have contested that header.

Wilshere was too forward when England needed to kill time. At the end he was losing possession, and he appeared to have lost the possession that led to build up and pressure for that equaliser.

I think there was something missing between Lallana and Kane. Lallana was not creative and didn't apply the right weight to his passes.

Na the ref score the 4 goals

One team sabi win for friendly, One sabi win for tournament

This year makes it 50yrs half a century Engerland has won any major trophy. In that time Germany has won 3 Euros and 3 World cups
Had Lampard's perfectly legal goal been allowed to stand, The lions would have gone on to win that game. They had u lot on the ropes.

Weda na friendly abi na enemyly dat wan no concern me. Hitlers boys sure took a helluva beating that night. Much the same way Churchill smacked him during the war. Half a century of hurt would not stop the Three Lions from whopping you lot silly when next they meet. Just accept the "L" in advance.

Rooney was good though but lacked the end product.
The England team needs a creative playmker in the mould of Eriksen/Payet to complete the team. Looks like Alli is more of a box-box CM than a playmaker.
BTW, The likes of Sterling, Lallana were so useless. Kane wasn't better off although his display could be understandable due to the lack of creativity however he looked sluggish and laboured. Maybe it's time to use one of Rashford/Vardy to provide the needed pace upfront.

Who is this bombo of a player again? You seem to be into scouting or something.

Anyway I think we have enough youngsters given warmth by LvG, all JM should do is integrate them properly with the main team. Not buying the Powells of this world then release them for free after series of loan deals. Our academy have truly talented lads, take a look @ Keane for example; that was the more reason I favored a Pep appointment but let's hope for the best.
I don't even have problem with getting the best of talents out there like we did with Martial or Barca with Neymar etc but the problem is when we settle for average joe like Depay etc.
The first time I saw Martial performance against Valencia in the Monaco CL play off, I was already in. His holdup play, agility and close control in tight places were really fantastic in that particular match, his talents were quite glaring for all eyes.
Unlike Depay who was constantly serving up shite performance for his national team, even before we got him.
Same with this Embolo lad! He just look average in majority of his touches compilation except for his strength on the ball. Abegi, I don't want this player o.
I hope Mourinho listen!

The English attack is too young/inexperienced. Either Rooney or Wilshere should be pushed forward. There were some simple things that were needed to be done from the right and middle of their attack, they were done very wrongly.

Exactly!
The amazing thing about the guy is that he can play both the box-box role and holding midfield role without any drop in his quality. This would give us option to play him either alongside Carrick or in his place.
One thing that keep impresses me is his techniques in tight space and penetrative vertical passes which are often not talked about. His agility is also immense, not forgetting his defensive skills, stamina and pace..
I can't believe some are still sceptical about him. He's the real deal. His performance yesterday shite all over that of both Pogba and Mathuidi, only Payet was better.

seems Leicester are trying to tie him down with a lucrative pay rise

It's hard to give up on him! And LVG should be blamed for his poor form last season. If he was giving a chance like Lingard, he would have got back to the level we appreciated during Moyes era!

well, assumptions tho... I wish him loads of form to ignite that dope flame we saw in him way back!

united join kante race
The Daily Mirror claim the Red Devils are ready to fight Arsenal,
Chelsea and Paris St-Germain in a race to sign the Leicester midfielder.
Jose Mourinho is keen on the France international who played for his country in Friday’s Euro 2016 opener against Romania.
The Special One wants Kante to add resilience and energy to
United’s midfield after a lacklustre season just gone.
The former Chelsea boss is keen to recruit several new faces after
signing Eric Bailly from Villarreal in a £30m deal.
Leicester signed Kante for just £5.6m from French minnows Caen last summer.
The 25-year-old was instrumental in the Foxes becoming Premier League champions, making 37 appearances and playing over 3,000 minutes of football in the process.

I think the midfield is already set, there's no way one of Rooney, Alli or Dier would be taken off, that's why I mentioned creative playmakers like Eriksen/Payet who could operate on the wing and still provide the needed creativity.
I don't get the hype round Wilshere though. No doubt that he's a technician but so is Bernando Silva yet their endproduct are rubbish.
People often talked about his display against Barca which I don't get because he didn't outclass Barca's midfield with his playmaking nor sublime passing skills. He only dominated Barca with his physical presence, dribbling runs and his technique to evade pressure was immense but apart from this, he did nothing else.
Personally, I think his intelligence is zero.

Why about Sturridge in the attack? England will not do anything with Kane and Lallana, especially Lallana. Both were too quiet, and didn't look to even gel. Sturridge will bring an advantage of his ability to wave away a defender and then create space.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by parrotibaba(m): 11:18am On Jun 12, 2016
Rooney played well yesterday considering that he always came back to collect the ball from defense and then move it forward. He also distributed the ball wonderfully with crisp passing.

Lallana was the chief culprit yes especially in the first half where he could have nicked a goal. And sterling was playing secondary school football despite the abundance of pace in his Arsenal. Bros go carry ball run at full speed reach 18 box but e no go know wetin to do with am.

Roy na another big goat, your team is struggling to put the ball in the net and you no wan add another striker for the game, and when you now scored, you removed your most experienced player and put on a wheelchair wey no sabi to carry ball go corner flag, who just dey throwaway passes at such a crucial period of the game.

England actually played better than I expected them to yesterday.

If Roy is gonna play Sturridge, it had better be in the striker role 'cos he's just as useless as Sterling on the wing.
The problem with England is the lack of a playmaker to provide the incisive passes in the final third. They played well especially in the 1st half but then, looked clueless in the final third and could only create half chances.
I don't even know which of the players in the squad could come in to be the creative foil for the team. Barkley is an erratic ball hugger with zero intelligence, so is Wilshere.
The attack need some pace too. APart from Sterling, the other 2 are just too sluggish. If the midfield couldn't create enough, the attack should atleast be pacy enough to compensate for the lack of creativity in the midfield like Manutd team under Van gaal.

True but England failed to take advantage. The Russians even had an injury crisis before the match and it's a travesty that England couldn't beat them.
