Diademk07: I don't think kante is better than pogba going forward though, at least not with what i've watched, kante is the type of guy that does the dirty job behind but limited attack wise We really can't compare because one sometimes play a deeper role than the other I don't rate pogba that high too as I also feel he is not worth that amount It is no news that mourinho is a defensive minded coach hence the kinda players he's been scouting thus far, that defensive approach is what I don't really want to be honest, i'm running outta words on how to get my point across |

Belgium need to bring on either Mertens or Carrasco and take out fellaini. Bros de do wetin de gaffer wan mk e de do(knock down balls) but they need creativity in the middle. |

Diademk07: Exactly, even the shooting accuracy will be better and weight of shot heavier because your feet gets use to hitting a hard object early, so the muscle, bones and nerves get stronger. |

dopeJemi:You know the funny thing is I don't understand Pogba position. I class him as a box-box CM but he doesn't operate as one. He operates as a no 10 sort of but not a no 10 either. Infact, his best performance for Juve this season was when he was pushed upfield in a sort of a free role where he could try as many shots as he can and do his needless fancy trick without hurting the team with his careless play. For someone expected to be a midfield general, he falls short in several aspect of his game. That said, I quite believe Kante is overall the better player though, his vision is impeccable too. The fact that he had the best defensive stats in the league makes people think he contributes only in the defensive aspect and thus judge him as those less technical defensive players whereas he contributes much more and he's an highly technical player. I doubt he wouldn't be as good if he plays in a 3-man midfield for Juve in that shite league as Pogba did. Like I said earlier, fancy tricks doesn't make you a great midfielder. |

bigkesh: walayi d matter tire me..dunno if its pure hate or just trolling..apart from giacherrini and bonucci, hazard was beta than d rest of d whole players...he was always trying to make things happen, debruyne disappointed big time oo..maybe its just one of those nights,as for lukaku,he played what was expected of him...very useless human being..at times I agree with that fella that said black are on an average not technical... naingollan had an abysmal game also..what did fellaini do exactly in that match.... I don't know if you guys noticed, but conte was very tactical in his setup and tactics... |

weedtaker: Darmian did not play with conviction. I thought they said he was one of their best players in the last world cup. Now he plays like he was called from school team to make up the number for the Italian side. Bonucci, what a defender. |

GBR1: We can't assess the level of initial talent and training of you and your friends, but we can look at the professional football world where the players have all undergone more or less similar amounts of training...and have largely been categorised via the recruitment process. Holland is a country known for it's emphasis on technical training and ability. When you look at the white players to emerge from holland recently, you have artists like Robben, Sneijder, VdV etc... When you look at the black players to emerge from Holland, you have the likes of Davids, Seedorf, Martins Indi,Hasselbaink. The first two did have considerable technical skill, but they are largely remembered for their power, stamina and hot shots. Pataki will tell you that there are a large population of dutch born blacks in the eredivisie, but they generally tend to be in the same mould as the second group. Just look at Depay for instance. I have explained how this works already due to talent. How did the Europeans come to dominate football today when South American countries were the initial kings? There was an incredible influx of great players and footballing talents to Europe and the Europeans leagues became better coupled with an advantage in financial standings and everything footballing aspect simply improved. Europe has been dominating football since the early days of the sport. It's nothing new. South America were not 'Initial kings'. Uruguay won the 1st ever world cup in 1930....Italy won the next two world cups. Europe had more world cup wins than South America as far back as the 80s sef...so that theory is dead in the water...especially as the great South Americans of the early days of the sport mostly played in South America. Aren't there even more black players in Africa than France? Why do France a country who has fewer blacks than Africa end up producing far better black players than even the black African countries? Don't compare European born blacks to African blacks who haven't had the same level of training. Compare European born black footballers to European born white footballers who've had the same training and the difference is clear. Look at the boateng family. 2 Good players - Germany took the defender, and left Kevin Prince for Ghana. Why?( He's not technical enough). Infact almost all the blacks in Germany's first team - Rudiger, Tah, Boateng....are defenders. Look at England. 5 of the players that started for England vs Russia are Black. 3 were defenders.1 was a winger. Why? Look at Portugal - That one is even so deeply divided. Black players = Athletes and/or Ishon. Whites = Artists. Why is it that Black players in Europe are either Brutish defenders, Brutish/Strong/Stamina defensive midfielders, or pacy wingers? Why is there no black Pirlo? Where is the Black Ozil? You are reinforcing what I've said. Jay jay and Kanu were simply more talented folks than the rest and this coupled with their technique made them better players and those who tried to replicate their footballing abilities but failed were simply not talented enough. Jay jay and Kanu were freaks and outliers...in a nation of pace and power, they were born with different other skills. They weren't fast or strong...they were completely different. The reaseon why we cant replicate them is that they are not usual occurrences here. Go to Europe and white JayJay and Kanu's boku. This is just standard. At the last commonwealth games, I was watching England vs Austraiia table tennis doubles - ALl four of the players involved were Chinese. Different skills for different races. Thats a fact. 2 Likes |

I have been following this thread for a long time without having any urge to post anything until today. How can any football fan in their right mind say blacks are less technically gifted? There is no physical and technical sport in the world blacks doesn't dominate exempt the ones we aren't very exposed. Can any of you list more technical players in the history of football better than pele, delima, ronaldinho, Okocha, rivaldo, thiery Henry, Roberto Carlos, Denison, Patrick viera, seedorf, Drogba, etoo. Infact they are endless. Forget the fact that football is more developed in Europe. Should Africans have same opportunities as they do, there's no competition. The blacks and white has their fair share of technical and Physical players, should we look for the best technical players to have ever graced football, they definitely will be blacks. The only advantage the whites have is early training and more suffisticated facilities. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Doslop: 10:27am On Jun 14, 2016 |
dopeJemi:That's a big fallacy, the biggest problem the blacks have is upbringing. Go watch Brazilian league where there are fair share if black and whites then tell me the whites are better technically. 85% of technical players coming from Brazil to Europe are blacks. In Europe, most black players there are not tallented, should they have grown up in Africa or South America, they will not smell the field of play. The reason you see many mediocre black players in Europe is because they were forced to play football at early age. They're are more dumb white footballers than blacks. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Diademk07: 10:33am On Jun 14, 2016 |
Nihilist:I disagree with every bit of this. You hardly see talented blacks in Holland, Germany, Spain, Argentina etc in those old eras due to fact that there was minute multiculturalism in those countries back then. Argentina, Italy and Spain today still take offence to having black in their team but does it means blacks don't have as much natural talents as the whites seems to have? In countries that imbibe blacks into their culture right from the start has majority of their talented players being blacks. Brazil for example, had Pele, Ronaldo, Neymar, Marcos Senna although he did play for Spain and many other talented black players. Even France had Zidane, Benzema and are quite reaping the fruits of their multiculturalism with the recent emergence of the likes of Martial, Coman, Pogba, Kante, Dembele etc. You talked about europeans dominating the south America today but I would say it was the money that took over. Back in the days, many talented players were not bothered with playing in the Brazilian league but now, you see the major talents in the league being poached at young ages to various european clubs and in returns, the quality of the brazilian league becomes lesser. At the same time, you have the European clubs with the money capable of constructing better training ground to bring out the potential in these young players to the maximum level. The same situation could be likened to Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea, Manutd, Barca etc. We could also ask why the best quality players and young talents are found in those aforementioned clubs in relative to other small clubs out there and the obvious answer is the amount of Money. |

Doslop: You know you still haven't distorted the fact that black players are less technical, you know that right? You are just giving me reasons why they are less technical This an argument about football in general, world wide, if I give you the task of naming 50 black technical players, will you be able to handle it without cracking your brain? Whereas I can just pick my 50 from barca, madrid, bayern Munich, atletico madrid, dortmund, man city, chelsea |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Doslop: 10:54am On Jun 14, 2016 |
dopeJemi:Why name a whole 50, name your most technical white player and I'll give you a black player that's much more technical, skill full, physical and all in one! I'm not saying there are no white technical players but all in all! Black players are better just like I said, there are more whites in Europe, there's hardly any team with 20% black players in Europe why should you compare the few to a white dominated continent. For every 10 black player in Europe, there are 100 white players |
