Medicals was very okay. Not as rigorous as I expected. In all, about an hour. And it was standard medical examinations. Unless engineers would be doing something entirely different, I cannot say.

Looking through the 2007 thread (https://www.nairaland.com/48041/which-way-nlng), it seems they started contacting references of successful candidates 2 weeks after medicals (see page 71 of the thread). Can't even remember the references I used...

Also, the Engineers/Technicians got the offer letter the third week after completion of medicals (see page 74 of thread)...

Offers were on Dec 03, 2007 at NLNG office. As of Nov 19, 2007 medicals was still on. So, the result and reference stuffs were possibly on even during the medicals. Offers rolled in not much after medicals which possibly ended last week of November. Drawing up a relationship, our offers could start rolling in from next week(a possibility). But, a July resumption is very unlikely. August is more like it. IMOO

I think Nlng will get to us asap after the medicals. During my medical, the clinic admin told me, he want to reply NLNG mail to them requesting the names of people who have completed medical so far.

From the rush to get those who ve completed medical even before the given window expire, these guys really want to wrap this up asap.

So I got a call from the clinic today asking me to verify my weight as they had written something down that didn't look correct. That worries me a bit as who knows what other errors may be undetected, but that's a worry for another day. Took the opportunity to ask them when they'll send the report to NLNG and they confirmed that NLNG will get it today. The lady evenly jokingly said to expect feedback from tomorrow.

I don't think there is any reason to worry. Afterall they were the ones that detected the error themselves, so if there were anything more, they would have notice it as well.

Don't give yourself unnecessary headache.

From my understanding, they were told to come down to Nigeria to have their medicals. Lagos I think, and some have done it.
