my bro,is everything all about money? Well guys, this how you will recover your Facebook back, go to settings on your device, clique on security and privacy, then clique on security wipe, you will find it there, its take about 30 to 40 minutes to completely wipe and install but make sure the battery is fully charged or plug to to an electricity outlet before commencing security wipe. Note that your media card must not be encrypted before you start a security wipe. Once it's completely done, the device will switch off, you can switch it on on you own then right there is your Facebook waiting for you.

Not everything is about money...you can do a search on NL...you will find I have been rendering much help without charging a penny, even to the point where peeps buzz me@3am on my whatsapp and I respond.

The method I have doesn't involve the long process of wiping your phone, you don't have to wait 30-40mins...within less than 10mins, once we are connected remotely, it's done.

I don't advice you guys to wipe your devices directly from your phones. It mostly take much more time. I think AutoLoaders are the best. It takes lesser time and way lesser efforts. Just a USB cable, a Laptop/Desktop & and an internet connection to download the AutoLoader. I think this what the young man(OP) is trying to share.

Nope, not autoloader...autoloader would take almost an hour to download...also wiping your device in any form would cost you your data(phone contacts, apps and all that) and if you don't want to loose anything, you have to backup first; that's about another hour, give or take, depending on what is on your device. If you backup the use an autoloader, then restore your device, the whole point would be defeated because even if you opt out of restoring FB, you'll be restoring the settings, which would cause the FB app to tell you it needs to be restarted and you should log out of FB, blah blah blah and you are back to square one. Do not agree to log out and you won't be able to use FB.

So no sir, it's not what I am referring to. The whole process from start to finish can be done in about 20mins (and this assumes you are in your office, I am in mine, both in front of our computers and I connect remotely to you and guide you through the process). The actual loading of FB takes less than 5mins really, and you don't loose anything nor have cause to make a backup of your device first. It's as seamless as installing an app from blackberry world or installing an apk file on your phone.

And no, before anyone mentions it, we wouldn't be using the android version of FB

Whilst face10 is a well thought out app, it's by nemory studios and before long, it'll start prompting you to go Pro, upgrade to Pro, this action is only available in the Pro version, blah blah blah...but sure if you don't mind all that, face10 could be an alternative.

Sure I can, but you'll have to follow it to the letter, as it's a bit techy, which is one of the reasons for doing this remotely. The other reason being to save you data (more on that later).

You'll need a couple of things if you want to go this all by yourself and I'll list them below:

1). Darcy's Blackberry Tool (DBT) any version from version 2.6 preferred or Sachesi...I personally prefer Darcy's, reason being that uninstalling apps via sachesi could sometimes be problematic.

2). A copy of the facebook app, before you did the upgrade (this can simply be extracted from an autoloader, using a combination of winrar, sachesi and/or Darcy's Blackberry Tool)

3). Blackberry USB drivers or Blackberry Link, which would install the USB drivers.

Once you've got those things, fire up Darcys, go to the installer tab, navigate to where you have the FB app extracted, uncheck only install if newer or something similar to that (I'm on the road and not in front of a system right now so do pardon me if I'm not quoting verbatim)

Click on install and wait for it to finish once done, you are done grin

Now I mentioned earlier about data...if you don't have an autoloader file handy, you'll have to download 1, and that would require about 2GB of data, if not more...

If you still want to go it yourself, here are useful links:

Autoloader: (note: you don't need to download the full autoloader files or all 3files, just download only th debrick file, which incidentally, is the largest. Also, since we are only interested in the FB app, you can download any of the debrick files, doesn't necessarily have to match your device).
