@EgunMogaji.....kindly post pictures after the aluminum cladding is done. I like full house exterior cladding as well that is light weight not like marble or stones. I am still looking for a design done locally in Nigeria that will enthusiastically astonish my mind. I believe it's a good material to use for those developing project on the island that contend with water (Correct me if I am wrong, over to all the pros in the house to see how it can be achieved).

@Spyder880, n3xt and other professionals in the building industry in the house, l read this article online while going through some stuff, do we have this kind of cement in Nigeria?....It is called green cement and it is said to be Eco friendly unlike what we are already used to in Nigeria.

No need we know the person already, The clue for me was from FS posting himself describing how the person dresses and post the pictures here and we have only one person with woods that does this here. There are so many types of cement in production in Nigeria (ashakacem, supaset, elephant classic and the different Dangote range etc) and interestingly there are so many additives that we do not talk about on Nairaland properties. These cement and additives makes it possible to use concrete for different applications.

Now, this big Q cannot be answered without first understanding "What makes a building Eco-friendly?"
Green, Eco or sustainable, building is the practice of creating and using healthier and more resource-efficient materials and processes for the construction of a house.

So in order words, the replacement of environmental degradable materials in construction. So "traditional cement" which is not an Eco-friendly material is substituted in construction with an alternative material.

The only material and process I knew of is the use of CGF or FlyAsh (Stone Dust) in concrete to reduce the quantity of cement to about 25% in concrete production. This makes the concrete environmental friendly.

The other Eco-friendly product are pre-packed in bags as Pre-Mix aggregates for different concrete applications. I don't think we have local manufacturers of those yet in Nigeria.
