Exactly my dear, let them talk about it or even mention it officially in plenary not on the pages of news paper, am seriously disappointed wit Ekweremadu, the problem is also us the citizens, this kind of proposal can make a senator to be recalled, was he representing his constituency or himself

Ben was there, they have ignored the call for “true federalism” as it's called instead started off by trying to defend their necks, this obviously comes a day after Ekweremadu and co are under police investigation for forgery, Stella oduah is a thief and I expect nothing less of her.

Kudos to Oluremi Tinibu who stood up to this rubbish, Can I also notify you of their swift manner in shutting down dispora voting , I guess when you pass MMA boarding gate you stop being a Nigerian

If I'm right Akpabio is either currently not receiving any salary for his duty as a legislator or is not collecting a pension. Is that not what the case against Saraki is about.

I am not sure about Akpabio but I think Saraki's has also stopped collecting his pension from Kwara state.

Tinibu does collect what is infact a very generous pension from Lagos state, other states with ridiculous pensions include Anambra, kwara, Cross Rivers , Delta , Kaduna and a bunch of others. It does seem Lagos started the trend and most have just copied that with slight modifications.

If you read the pensions you'll cry for Nigeria. Some of the pensions annually is equivalent to salary cheques in many state ministries

Life pension or what do you call it, no wahala let the same constituency that voted for you decide that and also recommend how much they will pay you if they agree and not the whole nation, cos you represent them in Nigeria and not the whole nation. As for me you can not work for a few days in four or eight years and expect to earn life pension like the man who has work for thirty five to sixty years.

Tinubu is not obliged to renounce his, he has not served in any other political office since, Fashola I'm sure would have because at this rate public eye is on everyone and Saraki case had sent a signal that what you do today may hunt you tomorrow

This is the difference between CHANGE, APC and PDP. The PDP is made up of sleazy, lazy career politicians who want to feed on the sweat of young people until they die off at the average age of 90.

Also for all the Ixxts on Nairaland who talk about youth, Ekweremadu is not up to 55 yet but he is already more conservative, more lazy, leSS radical and innovative than Tinubu who is in his sixties. Pls my dear is not hearsay, Lagos State house of Assembly passed that ridiculous life pension bill into law in fashola,s tenure, including building 2 choice properties for ex govs in 2 locations of their choice but u and I can't walk into alausa and ask, guess wot no freedom of information bill, not withstanding Lagos State govt is performing, we must demand for more like passing of FOI bill to monitor how tax payers money is been spent, enough of these worshipping of public officials, is just like ur father is a billionaire yet u can only basic things wen u can have much more

Lagos state reps need to address the pension act of that state likewise Akpabio who has a pension even greater than Tinubu and Saraki
