Thank you, is this for US passport, i just edited the post.

You can get it the same day or the next day whichever you prefer. If you want it the same day, make sure you get there very early and request to collect it.
God bless you for this, the site says 8 business days for processing and my friend said that is the new policy, that they dont do same day again, so was wondering what is true.

Ok good!
Thank you
Have you travelled?
How was the treatment at the layover? Hotel and food?

Yes, go with your fit to fly or medif form(if applicable-depending on how far gone you are will determine which you would need-check their website for details.
The layover hotel was nice oh! Food get k-leg so carry your snacks plenty with you but you will get enough drinks till you are high. The plane journey itself was okay but I have had better flight journeys -(Emirates fan-as them no dey come Atlanta I took Qatar instead) their arm rest thingy does not go all the way up when you are lying down . Both of my flights were not capacity full so there were plenty unoccupied seats to lie & sleep. So as you enter settle down they take eye check and as them they announce say doors should be closed -via a vis no more passenger entering use book/sweater/......take hold space cos those around you are thinking of doing the same thing-lol

8 business days even when you've expedited? The last time I was there was March 2015, it may have changed.

My E-fam,
Greetings from Houston. Flew Turkish cant say they are bad. Arrived IAH at 7pm.
Cb:why are u on a wheel chair?
Me: i puked when d plane was landing (lol, dint realised how awkward d answer is)
Cb: are you pregnant?
Me:yes i am
Cb: y are all you Nigerians coming to have babies here?
Me: for better healthcare
Cb: please dont tell me "the better healthcare" crap
Me: ok and smiling
Cb:your fingers please, is it your first time in the US?
Me: yes
Cb: ok someone will come get you for secondary inspections
Got to the room stayed for about 20mins and was called
Cb: so do you know and are u prepared on how much it will cost you?
Me: yes i am prepared
Cb: please dont accept medicare no matter the pressure if u do we will know and that will cause problems for you. How much do u have and have you made any payments?
Me: $6k and no prepayment done.
Another cb lady was like its doctor F and good for him that he changed. Turns to me and asked if it Dr f i just nodded. She is telling the Truth.
Cb:who stays in this addy
Me: grandma.
Cb: where do u work?
Me Bleep
Cb: welcome to the US
Me: thank you.

Nothing was siezed.
Called Dr F office and i was asked to come for my 1st appointment. Apparently, he really isnt with oakbend. Now am confused on which to choose btwn Methodist and st lukes in terms of service and mode of payment cos i intend paying with form A. Any advise will be appreciated pls.

Thank you all for your support.

Thank God for safe journey. I think Houston Methodist may be better in terms of ranking (professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness etc), from my research its ranked higher and has better reviews than Chi st. Luke. I have also asked friends that live in Houston and they say Houston Methodist is better. Experienced ppl can suggest though.

I have been exchanging mails with Dr. F, but sequel to your transcript i have a question. I mentioned that i was going to New jersey for child birth during my Visa interview and the VO asked why NJ, i replied because i had my first baby there in 2014 and liked the service, she asked for my zero receipts I showed her and shortly after I got the white paper and a brief advise to ensure that I carry the Zero balance receipts for my first child with me on my trip. However, I recently changed my mind to come to Houston given that its cheaper(As the economy isn't exactly friendly at the moment) now, linking this back to your transcript, was the Cb lady making reference to what you mentioned during your Visa interview regarding Dr. F and you telling the truth? Does it matter that i no longer want to go to NJ? Pls help a sister! Thanks

My dear, he said that he really doesnt like taking his patients to oakbend cos they've not upgraded their services yet they increased the price. He prefer Methodist and St Luke.

Mamas who are already using oakbend please help clarify this cos i got my quote in December.

Ps: havent gone to the these hospitals to make enquiries though.
I had a baby in oakbend in Jan 2016. It was crap compared to 2014 when I had my first

Good that senior dr's like dr Fagbohoun are taking a stand

Mmmm stay away from those travel agencies, if you will eer need to modify your ticket in any way at all. Ive had terrible exp with wakanow n travelstart

Exactly my thought.
Y buy from travel start while you can but it cheaper from the airline directly and pay in naira if you wish. ?
I will advice you to reserve one and put it on hold at the airline website because nobody knows what naira will be tomoro and the prices may go up. Just reserved mind and paying 1st thing tomoro morning.
Good luck
I had my baby at Oakbend on Friday and it was amazing! Dr Dama and his team were on their A* game. The nurses afterwards were fantastic. They showed so much empathy and care and I was discharged yesterday.

Dr F still took a delivery on Friday at Oakbend and has one today that I am aware of.

This is my first baby so I don't have any previous experience to compare it with but I don't regret any part of my baby's birth story/plan.

No i dont think she said that based on my visa interview because she just resumed her shift while i was interviewed.

I strongly believe that Dr F got a warning and maybe she's been on his case cos she was direct with d name and hospital.
I dont think its a crime to change your destination. Besides you are favoured no need to be afraid.

Do they fly out from DFW? I am not sure they do I know they travel from Dallas love field instead.
Nochid:

Your best bet will be through Southwest Airlines. They're however having issues with customers booking an itinerary outside North America. Your way round that is to call their 'Customer reservation' on +18004359792 and make your reservation.

Yes you can carry your stock fish, just tie them neatly in a nylon and put in your check in luggage. You can freeze the pap and put in your bag few mins to departure to airport. You can aswell dry the pap.
