I just got my passport earlier in the year. You can do most of the passport process yourself by visiting the Nigerian immigration service portal, you follow the instructions and register, then pay 17.6k(not sure) via payarena (you will initiate the payment online, print a slip and pay at the bank) then take this with plenty documents (birth certificate, indigene cert, and Guarantors passport photocopy and drivers license/national idetc) to the immigration office you selected close to you. The process is designed to scam of about 4k if you want it done quickly.

You can save some stress and pay 25k or 30k to the guys at the immigration office to get it done for you but you still have to provide all those documents

With the new Forex policy, Would there still be need to fund blocked account using formA? Because we should be able to obtain at same price from the parallel market. According to reports, It will take CBN up to 4 weeks to clear unprocessed applications that has piled up as a result of waiting on the new policy to come into play.

It depends on the difference between inter bank rate and that of the parallel market. Personally, I am yet to see any figure for the latter.

Hopefully before the week ends we would get more information.

Ok. But if you could show evidence that DB will deduct €50, that would take care of €8090. I have heard it is much better to unblock any extra cash.

However, if you wish to block mehr, by all means go ahead. In that case, whether the rates are the same or not, you must have a foot in the parallel market.

My problem is this, for me to be able to print out the application form, I must have finished the application process, uploading of my certified documents inclusive.
Hence, I WILL NEED THE CERTIFIED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION.
How then am I supposed to bring an application form which is not yet complete, because I need to certify my documents.
Or, do I not need to certify the documents to be uploaded to uniassist during .y application?

u don't need to certify it. U will only certify the hard copies u will send to them

Print your application form like that and take it with you. You can upload the originals of your documents, certification aint compulsory. You only certify hard-copies to be sent via post.

When I was applying, I first certified all my documents at a court and uploaded them online. These copies were used for online applications. Subsequently, I certified copies to be posted by mail at the embassy at no cost. I suggest you do the same as this would enable you complete any online application and allow you certify subsequent copies to be posted at the embassy. God bless.

That's good too. Aber uniassist is only interested in the certified copies sent via ground mailing.

So, it is perfectly ok to upload scanned copies of originals, submit, print out, certify, and send.

Eke40seven , pompido, weirdarkhitekt and the rest have done a whole lotta justice with this thread. I just confirmed my admission 4 masters in intl business & mgt. (Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences). No Uniassist stress nor sending of docs + Nipost/DHL wahala anyways, scanned all and sent, luckily enough was offered a position. Waiting for the hard copy to hit 9ja dis wk. But I have a dilemma. I currently have admissions for Masters in Luxembourg and Canada as well. That of Lux is €200 per session while that of Canada is $3-4k per year. Now, dis German admission is tuition free. Considering
1. the ease of visa processing & higher rate of securing Visa,
2. better integration into the system
3. Standard of education
4. Better welfare after grad as omo Naija

Which will the house advice me to follow?

BTW, Econs in Lux, while Rural dev in Canada. All taught in English language.
