Stella felt her world crumbling before her eyes. She just wanted to file that divorce as soon as possible, only one thing keep stopping her, Her father. The poor man needed to stop getting worried and she knew that her divorce would get him all worried up. She looked up to God for divine wisdom.
She avoided Dare and Tiara as much as she could. How can she face him, she love him so much and can't stand it anymore. She really needed a strong enduring spirit to endure Tiara's presence.
She heard a knock on her door.
"Who is that" She called out

Just as Dare left her room a Call entered...
"Hey What's up Stella" Femi said

She went into the bathroom immediately and had a fast shower, then she got set to Leave for Femi's place. She wasn't feeling too comfortable going but she just needed someone to talk to. She left the house without telling Dare her Whereabout, she just wanted to avoid him as much as possible.

Stella took her time in explaining all that had happened to Femi, she couldn't but bare her all to him... Femi paid so much attention to her ordeal, he pulled her closer to comfort her..

Love they say happens and sometimes can be baffling. Some people spend their whole life looking for love in the wrong place.

****Chapter One****

She ooze self confidence,the perfect definition of beauty and class. Under all the facade is the real deal, her best weapon is her smile, it can melt the hardest ice. Here is Senator George's Daughter, Stella George, a graduate of Business Administration from Harvard university, little wonder about her smartness.

Upon Graduation, she went to fashion school and now, she has one of the biggest fashion Outlet in Nigeria, all thanks to her father who gave her the much Needed connections. At Age 22, she is ranked the youngest and most successful fashionista in the country.
She seems to have everything and to crown it all, a loving man, the toast of every ladies.
Preparing for her vacation in Paris with her boyfriend she decided to surprise him. He has been in Paris since Monday and she promised to join him on Wednesday so as to have time to wrap things up in the shop.
"Hello dear I am sorry I will not be able to make it today, got a bridal dress I must deliver"

"Can't you let your PA handle it"

It was noon when she got to Paris. She left the airport and board a cab to the hotel.
The trip from the airport to the hotel seems like forever to her, she can't wait to be in her lover's arms. Ruminating on how she met James, she couldn't help but smile. She felt lucky to have been able to get his attention.They met during their undergraduate days in the university and she has always had a crush on him. James was a Tall, well built young Man with sexy nice abs every lady was dying to touch.. He was a first class student and also a socialite, he was very popular among the Students, so when he made the move of coming after her, it was like a dream come true.Who wouldn't love to be his girl? he was one of the most handsome guy on campus and a Black American. She had been crushing on him for 2years long before he noticed her, she was eternally grateful to God for that incident that led to the beginning of her relationship.

The sound of her phone jolted her back to life , it was her business partner and best friend

That is Lola the one and only friend I have we make a great team she love clothes and is one of the most Beautiful girl I know. It is hard to tell who is the most beautiful between us. I am dark and she is light and I am a little bit taller than she is. But we are like sisters and we love ourselves a lot. Though, I am older than her but she is like the mom and I am her baby. She is equally wealthy and connected but it is hard to tell because she is just too humble.
Erasing Lola's thought she proceeded to the reception. Head turned in her direction and she gave everyone a smile
"Hello " she said to the receptionist
"Welcome ma, can you fill this form " Lady replied with her English heavily accented with French
"Sure"
"Here is your key , Enjoy you stay" the receptionist said
"Merci" she replied
She rode the elevator with excitement and full of smile.
"I can't wait to surprise him"
When she got to the room the door was opened. "perfect" she thought
She turned the knob and entered.

Chapter 2
"What the hell" She muttered
The sight before her got her rooted to the spot. It was her beloved boyfriend getting dirty with a lady she can't place . She kept watching for sometime until she couldn't take it anymore. She turned silently and was about to walk out when she heard James call her name but she was blinded with tears.
She kept running and bumped into someone.
"Hey be careful" he called out to her but she kept moving.
Her heart was breaking, she was blinded with rage and sorrow. She kept moving with no destination in mind, she just wanted to leave the vicinity.
She stopped walking after what seems like an hour and later gave in to the tears that flooded her eyes. She can't help but feel pains and sorrow, the man she love with everything she had has decided to betray her love and trust. She kept crying until late in the evening. Her phone was ringing but She kept ignoring it thinking it was him, after a while she decided to check who it was and it turned out to be Lola
"Hello" she greeted "Sorry I am bothering you, it is just that I want to be sure if Mrs. Rose has balanced up so her clothes can be delivered tomorrow" she asked
"Yea, she has, it was when you travelled on Tuesday that she paid the balance into the company's account" she answered trying to conceal her teary voice.
"What is wrong with you" her friend demanded
"Nothing"
"Don't you dare lie to me, what is going on"
"I caught James cheating on me"
"What? her friend screamed over the phone
" yes I caught him"
" That bastard! I will personally deal with him. He thinks he can cheat on you and go scout free, no way! . I will make sure I show him that you can't cheat on my friend"
"Lola calm down okay"
" I won't that guy is a complete nitwit, how could he" she foamed
"it is okay"
"And I am not there with you how can I be sure you are going to be fine" she went into her mother hen mode

She dropped the call and made up her mind to return to the hotel, she got up and took a cab back. When she got to the hotel the receptionist told her James had left.
She sighed and entered the room, she decided to enjoy her stay and throw caution to the wind for the period of 2weeks she is to spend.
Dressed to kill, she decided to hit the hotel club. Heads turned in her direction as she stepped elegantly into the club but she didn't seem to mind or be disturbed.
The moment she entered, he saw her the lady that bumped into him in the lobby. She was not only beautiful but hot, "How can someone be this lovely" he thought.
She placed her order and surveyed her environment and someone got her attention. He was breathtakingly handsome with a ruggedness that will take you breath away, the way and manner he sat gave a suggestion that he is a successful man and possibly a billionaire. She felt him watch her and her breathing hitched, when he stood up and headed her way , her heart beat increased.
"Hello" he greeted
"Hi"

"Can I buy you a drink"

They got talking and she found out a little about him. He is Dare by name and he is also a Nigerian but it had been long he last went home, though he is planning to return soon. His family is based in Lagos. He has a sister and he is supervising a project in Paris. He is a Civil Engineer.
"Dance with me" he requested
"okay"
The song was slow and he was holding her too close. They kept staring into each other eyes and it happened, they locked lips.
The kiss was everything, he kissed her with much vigor that shook her to the core, it was both gentle and demanding. She returned the kiss which had him groaning. They didn't know who broke the kiss.
"Let me take you to my room"
"okay" she replied.
They headed in haste for the elevator, once in the elevator, they fell into each other arms again, the kiss was steamy. The elevator stopped and they made it to his suite in record time.
The moment he closed the door they continued, he had her against the door and kept loving her mouth. One hand was on her breast and the other on her thighs. Her mind went to what she was doing, did she want to lose her virginity to a complete stranger, a one night thing? She thought. She had planned giving it to James that night already before things weny messy.
"Are you okay" He asked

"so how come i have never seen him or his picture before, Lola we have been friends for almost ten years now and i don't know what your brother look like." she inquired
" I am sorry dear, it is just that i myself saw him last 10 years ago and it seems like he ran away from the world. I only have his childhood picture" she navigated her way into the parking lot.
They got down and headed in the direction of the entrance of the airport. one of their customers called the attention of Stella and she chatted her off. Lola proceeded and saw her brother anxiously looking out for her.
"Hey" she called out
Her brother enveloped her in a hug.
"mehn!!! It's been so long i last saw you " he told her
" At least you had my pictures I had nothing of you with me" she replied
"Oh"
" Lets get you home, mom and Dad is waiting" she said
Stella arrived and was about to apologize when the word hanged in her mouth. Her whole world stopped and she kept staring at the man she lost her virginity to. she suddenly got her voice back
" Is this your brother" she asked hoarsely
" Yes, have you met before" Lola inquired.

Chapter 3

Dare couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the reason for his sleepless nights for a year now. The lady that had him waking up in the middle of the night aching.
"Yes" he replied before Stella can talk.
"What a small world" he directed at her
Stella kept her gaze to the floor, battling with different emotions. What should she do, how should she explain to Lola, how will she face him.
"Are you alright" Lola asked her.
That jolted her back to life.
"Yes" she replied.
"Let us move" Lola said cheerfully
She knew something was amiss and that her friend was disturbed she decided not to question her.
"Where did you guys meet" she couldn't help but ask.
"In Paris " her brother replied
" OK that should be a year ago"
"Yes" her brother replied
Stella was extremely quiet throughout the whole journey. She just couldn't understand why life is treating her this way.. How can he be her best friend's older brother she kept wondering.
"we are home" Lola declared.
It was a happy re- union for the family and everyone was obviously happy.
"Mom I have to go now ma "Stella announced
" But dear you just arrived here " Lola's mom replied.
"I need to deliver a message for my Dad"she said.
" How is he by the way " Lola's father inquired
"He is fine sir" she hastily replied, and called out to Lola to let her know she is on her way .
"Okay, should I drop you?" she asked
"No I will find my way"
"I will see her to the gate" Dare suddenly announced.
"No you don't have to, you need to rest from such a long trip". she quickly said
" I insist"
She quietly let him lead her out of the house.
"So? he said
"so what?"
"Why did you leave that morning" he asked once they were outside
"I don't owe you an explanation" she replied
"Yes, you do and by God I am going to get it from you" he threatened.
"What will you do force words out of my mouth? "
"Yes, if that is what it takes"
"well I guess I have to go now"
" I will come for you"
Stella left the house with a very heavy heart .Her phone rang and she picked.
"Is this Stella George" the caller asked
"Yes, how may I help you? " she inquired.
"Your dad was rushed here after he collapsed from heart failure" he is presently at the city hospital."
"What!!! I will be there right away" please Lord protect him. She prayed.
Stella got to the hospital quickly, but she was directed to wait for the doctor that was attending to him. It seems like ages to her and she had various thought crossing her mind. She kept praying to God to please spare her father he is the only one she has, her mother died when she was 10 years of age. It was her father that had been in charge of her upbringing. Though a very busy man, he had always been both a father and a mother. She needed him now more than ever.
The doctor came and told her to follow him to his office. She was told he had heart arrest and collapsed he was lucky to have been brought there on time. He has to spend 1 week in the hospital under proper medical attention, then they can decide when he is fit to leave.
After she left the doctor's office in tears she checked on her father and found him sleeping. She sat beside him and watched over him for hours. Around 6 pm she decided to put a call through to Lola
"Hello girlfriend" Lola answered
"Hi, I called to inform you that dad is in the hospital"
"what is wrong with him " she asked
"Nothing much, everything is under control now, just wanted you to know. I will be absent from the fashion house for some time"
"Have you eaten" Lola asked
"No, I have been pretty occupied"
"Which hospital are you right now, I will join you right away" Lola said.
"City hospital"
"Okay " Lola said.
Lola arrived 30 minutes later with a food flask and new clothes for her.
"I brought you these, figured you won't want to leave his side" she said
"Thanks"
"How is he now"
"He is stable now"
"That is good"
"Please don't get yourself too worried, he is going to be fine"
"Thanks"
Lola stayed with her for 2hours then bade her goodbye.
She prayed throughout that night and made sure the press was kept out of the hospital premises.
After her father was discharged, she was warned to make sure he is not stressed or disturbed and his every need be met as at when due. She was told he needed maximum rest. She happily promised to obey the doctor orders, anything to bring her father to his feet. The Adams were really supporting throughout that period, they were the only one who stood by her. She will be forever grateful to them for the support given to her. She was happy she didn't have to face Dare at all for the past three weeks and at the same time it made her heart empty.
"You have a visitor " one of the maid told her .
"who"
"A Young man, ma"
"Okay I will be downstairs shortly"
She wondered who it was, she made her way downstairs and froze at the presence before her.
"Hi" Dare greeted.
"Hi, yourself"
"I wanted to check on, I had what happened to your father"
"Thanks"
"Lola who is there" Her father asked from the stairs
"Father you should be resting"
"Stop treating me like a minor"
"I am not"
"Introduce me to your friend"
"He is not my friend he is Lola's brother"

"Yes sir, I have heard a lot about you" Dare answered
"Welcome to my house, son. Your father told me you would arrive but due to my ailment I couldn't make it to the welcome party"

Stella watched the exchange between her father and Dare and nearly lost it when her father invited Dare to dinner the next day.Dare announced that he wants to be on his way and her father bade him goodbye and returned to his room.
"I will see you tomorrow" Dare told her, she saw him to his car and returned inside.
The next day came, Stella was busy preparing for the Adams visit. She made sure the food was well cooked and had the maids arrange the dinning well. She bought different fruits. At around 6:30 she changed and made sure she was as simple in look as possible. The Adams arrived 30 minutes later and was welcomed. The men immediately took to discussing business and politics while Lola helped her in preparing the table. Dinner was delicious and Mrs Adams complimented her well. Her father took special liking to Dare to her dismay.
"So when do you plan to return" her father asked Dare
"Sir, I am actually back in Nigeria for good"
"Wow, that is good, so any plan on ground"
"I actually want to start my construction company here"
"That is good"
"I only need someone to help my feasibility study"
"Stella can do that"
"Dad I think Mr Dare can find another person" she pointed out.
"She would be perfect sir" Dare said eying her
"You will help him pumpkin, won't you" her father asked.
She felt cornered and didn't have a choice.
"Yes" she replied.
All through, Lola was eying her suspiciously and felt there is something she is not telling her. Dare fixed her meeting with her at her shop and promised to pick her up on Monday.

Monday came with Stella been jumpy at work all through, she vowed not to let Dare's presence affect nor intimidate her. Lola noticed her mood and asked if she wanted anything which she declined. At around 1pm Dare arrived looking all handsome, his sister attended to him immediately and Stella went to her office to round up the day's work.
Lola asked her brother "What is between you and Stella, she has been jumpy and uncomfortable since you returned. She can barely spend 10mins in your presence"
"Nothing, we just have little unfinished business in Paris"
"Unfinished you say"
"Lola are you always this nosy"
"when it is about my friend, Yes"
"The thing is .....
" I am set" Stella announced cutting Dare's sentence midway .
Lola replied "okay dear have fun"
Dare guided Stella out by the arm, and help her settle in the car. The journey was quiet until Dare broke it.
"Why did you run that morning"

Surprisingly they got along well, discussing various issues ranging from business to hobbies, they found out they like almost same things. They both shy away from going into their personal lives. Dare liked her character and the way she see things.
They continued their hunting until they found a suitable place not too far from her fashion house. Dare thanked her for her help and requested to take her out so that she can show him places of fun in Lagos, but she declined.

Dare vowed to do anything to get her to spend time with him. They decided to fix Thursday night and Dare said he was going to bring a friend along too.
Thursday arrived without much event, her father is now very better. She told him of her outing and he eagerly agreed.
The club was bubbling when they arrived and everyone was having fun, Dare's friend, Subomi, was equally very handsome but Stella had her eyes on Dare alone. Everyone partied and were enjoying the moment. Subomi asked Lola to dance which left Dare and Stella alone.
"may i dance with you please? "
"Yes"
They all got on the dance floor and soon Stella and Lola stole the show but the men too proved to be good dancers. It was a fun filled night for her.
She excused herself to go outside. She was enjoying the breeze when she felt a presence beside her.
"Did I tell you how beautiful you look? " Dare blew to her ears

All the pent up emotions came rushing to the surface. She kept on staring at him an found it hard to swallow.

Stella couldn't sleep well that night, event of the day kept running through her mind, from the kiss to the trust fund. She kept thinking of what to do, because right now she is not even in a relationship so getting married was going to be a miracle. An idea came to her mind.
The next day she went to Lola's house, she wanted to see Dare.
"Good morning Dare"
"Good morning"
"Lola is not in"
"I actually came to see you"
"Me?"
"Yes"
"okay"
"I have a proposal "
"Go ahead"
"Marry me for 6 months"
"Have you lost it!? "
"No, you are the only person I can ask for this favour please"
"Why me?"
"I don't know I just felt you can help me"
He kept watching her for a while before replying "okay"
"Are you serious? "
"Yes"
She couldn't belief her luck when he agreed she felt elated, she did this because of one thing,The most important possession of her mother,The heirloom. She did not care about the money but want the heirloom to be with her.
When she got to the shop, it became an hectic day for her, orders kept coming in, at around evening her phone rang.
"Hello"
she immediately recognised the voice
"Hello, I want to take you out now. If we are going to get married we should act it."
"Okay"
"I will be there in an hour's time"
"Okay"
Dare arrived an hour later, he met Lola outside.
"Hello big bro"
"Hey"
"What brought you here?"
"Came to pick Stella up"
"Is there something between you guys?"
"Hmmm, you should ask Stella that".
" You guys have been acting funny and suspicious for some time now"
"God bless the day you stop been Nosy"
"Amen"
Stella arrived at the door looking radiant.
"I knew it, you guys are hiding something" Lola exclaimed."
"Why did you say that?" Stella asked.
"When was the last time you left the shop looking this gorgeous, and moreover that wasn't the dress on you this morning"
"Lola stop embarrassing me"
"Oh sorry, my mouth", she teased.
Dare couldn't help but chuckle at the conversation between the ladies and he also loved the fact that she dressed up for him.
"Lola we have to get going I will see you at home"
"Okay guys be good"
When they got settled in the car, Dare apologized for his sister's behaviour
"It is nothing I understand her perfectly well, she is my best friend remember"
"How do you cope with her? "
"She is a very good listener and proffers solutions to most of my problems, she always look out for me too"
"Wow"
"So I love her to a fault"
"Good for you ladies, you act more like sisters"
"Yes"
They got to the restaurant and they placed their orders.
"So why do you suddenly want to get married? "Dare questioned
"For my trust fund"
"I don't get"
"There is this heirloom that belong to my mother I need to get it back and it is part of the trust fund"
"And"
"Let me give you the full gist, my father told me last night about the trust fund, he said my mother instructed him to give it to me when I am 24 and I should be married by then . It is 3months to my birthday and I don't even have a serious relationship.
"Oh, so the money is also important?"
" A little"
"What is my gain"
"You are under no obligation whatsoever, you can continue your relationship, I won't be in the way."
"Hmmmm"
"So do you want to change your mind? "
"No! I just wanted to know what I am for "
"So, why do you want to help me? "
He shrugged and asked them to leave stylishly dodging the question.
So how do we go about announcing it? .
"We will tell them we met in Paris and liked each other but due to circumstances, we lost contact but has luck will have it, we hooked up again in Nigeria and the love affair continued".
" Wow"! Dare said.
They continue to plan what to do and how to go about it for long then they called it a night. Dare dropped her at home before heading for his apartment. .

****Chapter 5 ****
The following week was beautiful as she and Dare were mostly together, Lola kept on keeping a tab on them , Dare advice her to tell Lola so has to hurry things up.
"Lola, I want to tell you something" She approached her.
"What is that? "
"I am in a relationship with Dare"
"I know"
"What?"
"I have eyes and I can see"
"so...?"
"I am cool with it as long as he treats you right"
"Thanks dear"
"You are the one in the relationship not me now, but how did it start?".
She told her the version of the story they came up with.
" Wow, I am happy you are now in a relationship, because since James left, I thought you would close your heart forever"
"I wouldn't say he did not cause me a trauma.
" I am happy you are happy now".
She just knew she had one of the most supporting friend in the world. 3weeks later he proposed to her and their parents approved of them getting married, but she was worried because he hasn't made a move on her since she asked him to marry her. Could it be that he no longer find her attractive, or is he with another woman.
"That shouldn't bother me" she thought.
Preparation was in top gear for her wedding, she told her father she wanted a low key wedding. She couldn't believe she is getting married in 3weeks time, everything was fast.
The Adams could not understand why they wanted a low key wedding but Dare was able to convince his parents, he told them he wanted her to be his wife as soon as possible. They were actually happy to finally have Stella as their daughter in-law.
Lola handled most of the marriage preparation and made sure everything was going on smoothly.
Her wedding Day came and she was beautifully dressed, Lola was her best lady, they were adding the final touch to her makeup when her phone rang.
"Hello beautiful" Dare said.
"Hi"
"Are you sure you still want to proceed with this wedding plan" He asked
"Yes never been more sure"
"Okay dear, see you in church and I know you are going to be as beautiful as ever my lovely bride to be" he said
She dropped the call to finish up her make-up. She was one of the most beautiful bride.
Her father was waiting in the car when she came out, he couldn't help but shade tears when she made her way to the car.
"Dad, what is wrong? "
"Nothing, I am just happy you are getting married"
"Oh, Dad"
"Yes pumpkin I will miss you, I am just happy you are getting married to Dare. I know he as well as his parents would treat you right".
It was an emotional moment for father and daughter. Her father walked her to the aisle while Dare watched his Bride in fascination, she couldn't be more beautiful, he had eyes for only her and gladly said the vows.
"You may now kiss the bride" the officiating minister said
"and take your time" he added.
Dare removed her veil and kissed her from the depth of his heart he had starved himself of her lips for 2months now. He raised his head and smiled looking down into her eyes.
"I hereby pronounce you man and wife" The officiating minister announced.

The wedding reception was beautiful though not too flamboyant, gifts were given to the couples, Stella's father gave her the ticket to the private island where he spent his honeymoon with her mother then. It is a very old one she guessed.
She only wished what she had was the real thing, not some pretense, but she thinks love is not meant for people like her. They left the reception early to have ample time to pack.
It was late when they got to the island. They settled in the cabin and relaxed. The housekeeper prepared their meal and also made sure the only room there was well taken care of.
After eating they decided to call it a night
"There is only one room " Stella said
"I think the bed is big enough for us to share" Dare replied.
They took turn to use the bathroom, Stella used the bathroom quickly and came back to sleep, she watched Dare make his way inside. She settled in bed and pretend to be sleeping, she felt the bed dip under his weight.
"How can I spend the night in the same bed with him and nothing will happen? " she thought. Her mind kept going in wild direction.
She felt his presence close to her and his touch.
"I can't get my mind off you, I am about to go crazy with wanting you" he whispered into her ears.
"I thought you no longer wanted me"
"Why did you say that?"
"For two months now you didn't make a move on me"
"God help me, I just couldn't stand not been able to have you completely, it is killing me"
She made the first lip contact, he sighed into her mouth and took over the kiss. It was gentle, slow and everything you could ever dream of"
"I ached for this for a year" he told her.
The kiss went on for a while.
"I want to make it special" he told her
He laid her down and loved every part of her body. It was a wonderful feeling. She desperately wanted him to feel the same way she felt.
"How can I please you? " she asked.
He smiled and shut her up with a hot kiss, she responded passionately, in that mood, he took her hands down his pintle,she felt the impulse running through her veins. She stopped to look at his face, he nodded in affirmation and smiled, she smiled, slide down his lower region and gave him the best Mouth Gig he could imagine. They spent their wedding night giving themselves pleasure till early the next day.
"This is the best wedding present" Dare told himself
They spent their honeymoon exploiting Greece and enjoying the atmosphere Stella decided to enjoy her stay cause she knew things were going to change once they are back home She made sure each day was special and Dare played the right man. She was beginning to deeply like him and hope it doesn't get her into problems.
They have one more week to spend in Greece when Dare got a call me that his company has been approved and licensed to start operating. They had to return to Nigeria immediately. When she was packing Dare entered
"I am sorry we have to leave early " he said
"It is okay"
"I promise to bring you back when everything is settled"
"Okay"
She thought they might be divorced by then and decided not to get her hopes high.
They returned to Nigeria and both became extremely busy. Stella had to attend to so many issues in the shop though Lola did a very efficient job, while Dare was busy with his company. They lived like friends and got along pretty well.
At dinner that night Dare told her of a friend who was coming to stay over
"Stella , one of my business associats is coming over to help with a project" he announced
"Will he be staying over? " she inquired
"It is a she actually, and yes she will be staying over"
"Oh, okay, you are the man, when is she coming
"In a week time"
She took care of the guestroom awaiting her arrival during the weekend, but couldn't help but wonder what sort of relationship they share and she didn't want to questions him so as not to sound jealous.
The following week came with little events, the shop was running smoothly, her only concern was Lola who has been acting strange for a while now.
She got home and met his car in the compound, he already told her his guest would be arriving that day. She entered the house and met one of the most beautiful girl she has ever seen. Her husband noticed her presence and welcomed her, that got the attention of his friend who was involved in a serious discussion with him.
"Welcome dear"
"Thanks"
"Let me introduce you, Tiara meet my wife Stella, Stella this is Tiara" he introduced
They shook hands and exchange pleasantries.
"Nice to meet you" Tiara told her
"The pleasure is mine" She replied
"But dear I used to remember you preferring them a lot curvy" she directed at him
"Excuse me?" Stella said
"No offense but you don't struck me as his type"
"Tiara you haven't changed " Dare cut in, before the exchange got heated.
Stella decided there and then that she can't like the Tiara lady. She went upstairs and changed leaving both of them discussing. She returned and met them discussing, she decided to check on the cook. Dinner was served. While they were eating, Tiara decided to break the silence...
"I remember you not liking shrimps" She pointed out
"I don't like it still" Dare replied with a smile
They kept on discussing, while Stella was quiet throughout the meal watching the exchange between her husband and his friend. She went to her room to retire for the night. But her husband did not enter his room till very late into the night.
***Chapter 6*****
Stella was beginning to dislike the arrangement, she is due to collect her trust fund next week, she just can't understand why Dare keeps spending most of his time with the Tiara girl. She found them everywhere in the house laughing, playing, talking and most time they come back from work late. He always complain of having a lot to do in the office concerning the new project. They communicate once in a while, because he is always busy with Tiara.
"Hey" he called out to her when he returned that evening
"Welcome" She said
"You look bored what is wrong"
"Thank God you noticed, where is Tiara"
"Outside getting some things from the car"
The subject of their discussion entered, greeted her and faced her husband
"I will need your help choosing what I will to wear to the function"
"Alright" he replied"
She remembered their agreement, but it is too early, they got married a month and a half ago, he is no difference from the other men. Once he served her purpose she was just going to pretend as if nothing had happen between them.
She was getting ready for bed when she heard them leave the house, he already told her he had a function to attend, she was only angry he didn't bother to invite her.
She went to bed that night feeling sad and pissed. The next morning was a Saturday she decided to go visit her father.
"Good morning" she met them at the table and greeted them
She continued facing her husband "I want to go see my dad"
"Is there anything wrong with him"
"No I just miss him"
"Okay don't be long"
"Take all your time, I promise you I won't let him miss you" Tiara cut in.
She just left the house not bothering to reply her. She got to her father's house and spent a lot of time with her dad, she really enjoyed her stay because they had a lot to discuss. When she left she got Lola's call
"Hello dear" she said into the speaker
"Hello, where are you, I want to come spend the weekend with you" Lola said.
"Okay no problem I am on my way home, from dad's place"
"Can you just pick me up at the gate"
"All right"
She drove to Lola's house and picked her up by the gate. They decided to go to the market and get fresh fish before going home. They got home to meet Tiara's head on Dare's laps. they were fast asleep.

Seriously @ Op: it's usually appropriate to move on with a story rather than stopping somewhere then returning to the beginning and starting again. I don't know what they told you that convinced you. But distractions do occur even in very subtle ways. My point is you need to focus on your index project. Yes, they were slight errors but its part of your writing experience. No body is perfect so criticisms should help modify experiences.
Continue with your story, its yours. First step is finishing your story. After that comes the editing. Believe me: sometimes an over-edited story is just chaff!

Nice update. But I feel the story is a bit rushed. Don't be in a hurry to update your story. Just take your time so that it will worth the wait.

Tiara was waiting for her when she returned

"You left you matrimonial home to return this late, what sort of a woman are you? "Tiara attacked her

" The sort of woman who would slap if you don't leave my sight this minute! "She replied angrily.

Tiara was momentarily shocked but Stella continued
"The fact that I let you in to my home doesn't mean that I am stupid. I was only giving husband the respect he deserved, don't tempt me, else you would have yourself to blame"
Stella said and walked out on her.

"So she can be this crazy, wait till I am through with you, you would beg for mercy. Dare is mine and would continue to be"

The following day at work, Lola noticed some changes in Stella's countenance and the fact that she was mostly on phone with someone she can't place.
"Stella, is anything wrong? " Lola approached her
"No, nothing is wrong"
"Are you sure, because I have a feeling you are hiding something from me"
"Yes I am sure it is just the stress"
Lola watched her for a while before she said
"If anything is wrong, just know I am here to listen" she squeezed her shoulder before leaving.
Stella felt guilty for lying to her best friend but she couldn't bring herself to telling her the truth.


Her week was so rough. The only person that has been of comfort to her was Femi. She spent most of her time after work with him. He was such a gentleman she only hope he wouldn't change.

Home was a different ball game Dare kept pleading while Tiara was hellbent on making the house a living hell for her.
He took his time in listening to her and he promised her all was going to be just fine...
Stella and Femi became so close, he was in her thought always. She just love the chemistry between them.
They hang out together at various places of relaxation and take photographs to save the moments. It was nothing but fun with femi
