it may surprise to know that when west were busy offering scholarship for the children to school to reshape their future, most our parent would prefer her wards to go and learn trade for quick money.

It may surprise to note that during ObJ leadership, the Igbo were strategically place in most ministry as minster, we did not complain. But for 16 years, Enugu- Onitsha road did not receive attention. Rather, our political class were busy struggling for oil and gas business in Sao tome etc.

Our brother prof bath Nnaji from Enugu state- Minister of power was at the verge of solving the power issue, but our own from SS/SE due to their selfish interest muscle him away. The rest is history.

My brother, remember our region is land lock and most of people has invested outside the Igbo land. How would survive is the bubble show burst. God forbid. The early 60s to 70s is different now. Totally in support!!

What most of all want as opposed to the useless noise, blackmails and ultimatums being dished out per second by pro-biafrans.

What people don't understand is that this clamour for biafra and Nigeria's handling of it is like two persons spoiling for a fight. The party who's all too aware they'd get a real bloody nose would act all aggressive, pushing and lurching forward as they are being restrained by a "peacemaker". But soon as the peacemaker decides to give way so both parties could slug it out, you see the aggressor develop an instant cold feet because they know the outcome of the rumble would be devastating for them.

If Nigerian government shows the slightest resolve to organise a referendum, I'm very sure the calls for it would start dying down.

I really don't think these guys wanna leave
, they are simply using it to blackmail the government.

I pray we find the will to organise it so we can put this stuff behind us once and for all. Enough of the crap already.

Yoruba delusion amazes me. I wonder if they have a normal brain or human.

U are talking about these guys right?

Any igbo person that tells u they dont support Biafra is being diplomatic or trying to avoid war.

All Igbos detest Nigeria. Fact!

U cannot commit all those crime against them and not apologise or compensate and expect them to love u. It is not human, if they do.

How many yorubas died today? Is it militant or fulani to blame?

It will be normal occurrence going forward, becos it was swept under the carpet. They will continue. I personally, dont want to live with yorubas anymore or share nationhood with them.

See that Lagos, keep it but respect our right to leave Nigeria. U are free to continue with the North as one Nigeria.

U remind me of a kid who grew up calling his mother boyfriend daddy, only to find out that he was never his dad or father.

The only difference is that unlike the child, u are not innocent. U set urself up for the greatest disappointment of your life.

If ur behavior is exactly how yorubas behave, then even Oduduwa Rep would be a curse.

Nigeria as governed by Buhari is falling aprt.

Things fall apart.

Yes. I support this but their politicians in Abuja and elsewhere are not demanding for referendum; instead their lots believe so much in propaganda - Russia, Israel, etc. coming to turn Nigeria to battleground stories.
I believe in self-determination of each group in Nigeria, at least true federalism. If Igbos want to go the way is so easy, just incorporate your politicians into this movement, stop being emotional, stop hating/ claiming other groups and stop the insinuation that everyone hates you because you will still need Nigeria in many ways after you've got your Biafra.

The same British that bundled everybody in nigeria together like animals are having referendums almost every year while my yoruba people who are proud civilized people are here defending buhari crude feudalism and Autocracy and even rejoicing over the death of unarmed protesters. How we yoruba descended so low to the level of bloodthirsty almajiris is beyond me. I feel very ashamed I swear.

Don't worry Biafra isn't going with your Ijaw lands. You'll definitely stay in your ND republic. Biafra shall be a country of mutual consent groups. Peeps like my folks in Rivers, the Akwa/Cross folks and other minority groups with a mutually agreed constitution that allows every group controls its resources, regional government and so much more. Militant and unproductive groups are not needed in the new country, but civilized and hardworking fellas. Thanks

Every nation is a product of the people. If you do yours and I do mine this very nation will be better. We have abandon our civil responsibilities and watch the those who has been representing us from east to play the card of ethnicity and bigotry just for their selfish interest. Now the table has turn against them, they remember Biafra and restructuring. They should restructure their attitude towards our public funds and fight for our interest not theirs. When you don't support their selfish desires they brand you all sorts of names.

I don't believe in what you believed, that is why I am not an Igbo. You never can tell if we may had any dealing together today. There are more to life than you see it. An intelligent agitator would put his reasons forward to convince the other person, than to rain insults.
Just last year scotland voted to remain in the UK.

You're talking about insult, do you know the amount of insults Cameron received before conceding to the Scotland and BREXIT referendum demands. ?

Of course a referendum should be held. Referendum is a democratic instrument and people have a right to decide their destiny.

Biafra is based on ethnic groups, not States. That's why a referendum is good, any ethnic group that does not like Biafra can vote not to be part of it. There are about 40 ethnic groups that are in the proposed Biafra, Igbos are just one of them. The rest such as Itsekiri, Ijaw, Ibibio, Efik, Ogoja, Ogoni, Anang, Oron, Ogoni, Isoko etc can all vote not to be part of it. But there something very important for the minorities to bear in mind. The minorities must realise that the choice they face in a referendum is to stay with the Hausa and Yorubas or leave with Igbos and that when a referendum comes, there will probably never be another one again forever. Referendums come once in a lifetime in Africa and I know for a fact that any minority that votes to stay in Nigeria will never be let go by Hausas and Yorubas. It is only because Igbos are a majority that a referendum is even possible. So when a referendum comes on Biafra, it will be their last chance to ever get out of Nigeria. Let them not say they were not warned!

I say yes ooo in fact most igbos would troop down to the east to vote, now those of u asking about the properties of the igbos that can be found in other region and what will become of it, are u also telling me that the investment of multi-national non nationals will also be abandoned, because they are also no nationals like the biafrans are going to be.
