kropotkin2: Your constitution like the British constitution is silent on referendum. That's why the British can have it and nigeria can also have. The only difference is that normal human being inhabit Britain while crude, cruel and uncivilized bufoons inhabit nigeria. Are you a crude bufoon? 4 Likes |

Babacele: Whic of the politicians will ask for that, when they are benefiting from this system. One of fears, if we did not put this greedy fellows on check and dismantle their structure, they will still be the one that will come along to be leader in proposed "Biafra". Rather than asking for the right thing and approach, some youthful individual prefer protest and violence as a means of getting what they want. |

successmatters: How can something fail when it was never successful, i don't understand your logic. Was there a time when nigeria was glorious? I'm talking post independence era, because if i remember correctly the first civil war happened just 6-7years after independence. We failed right from 1960 1 Like |

Nigeria the most populous black country in the Word is a scam. Its just an entity set by the British to assist their movement of wealth without restriction. Country like China has benefited from it and some countries that are developing, they make Nigeria their dumping ground. We have seen how backward countries in Africa are enjoying 24hrs powers supply but in Nigeria we can't boast of 4hrs steady power everyday for 1 month. The truth is this the country was built in self destruct. We cant be like America with atleast same believe as a tie, same with India or China that has something as a tie to be called same in a country. As a man from Eastern Nigeria if I meet someone from Northern Nigeria it will be hard for us to discuss anything because of 1. We have deep difference in religious conviction 2. We can't speak same language unless we borrow English from our colonial masters 3. Our political interpretation of the government is different because Tribes in Nigeria don't condemn their own when they are in power 4. Our tolerance for life is different. 5. Our aspiration in Life, especially when it comes to personal growth, wealth building and betterment of life for family. 5. We are simply differentiated by geographical location. They are many but yet in all Our government don't care about this differences because they are all well paid and don't care about Nepotism and death the masses face everyday from this differences. Yes all people in the Eastern Region have many things in resemblance which is 1. Religion 2. Facial Look 3. Personal aspiration. 4. Enlightenment.. And many more. Ojukwu might have announced Biafra at the wrong time but we all know that Division is what we can't take away from an heterogeneous country like this. Russia also enjoyed domination in Europe due to their Population but they also came to time they forgot about number and focused on Impact . Today we have a divided Soviet union but a stronger Russia. The world knows we are going no where if we don't address our heterogeneous nature, we might be feeling relaxed with the wealth we get from Natural resources but tomorrow it may backfire at us.. Its very easy for a remote country to control us because we ourselves can't control our own country. My take is this Nigeria should get reconstructed or let a referendum be applied to allow Aggrieved regions build on their strength so that we can have a Stronger Nigeria. 2 Likes |
