I blame the forces of Darkness...and they are everywhere! NDA is the latest of them. Bombing gas pipelines. Destroying infracstructure and expecting production and supply to exponentially grow...thats more like a pipe dream.

I paid 25k for single phase, maybe 3phase will be X3

I got my meter 3weeks ago after I'v paid for it since January, my house is just 2bedroom flat, these yeye Nepa always billing me #7500 per month, since 3weeks now, I never finish #1000 recharge.
Pls, how much did you pay for the metre? I need it seriously because of the crazy bill I have been getting

Basically, electricity consumers that have point load(dedicated)transformers in their premises.These customers consume high units of electricity. Companies, Banks, Corporate offices, Hotels, Government parastatals fall under this category.
Most of them are already metered anyway as these are priority customers for the distribution companies because of the revenue generated from them.

Abeg mek I hear. As if they mean it, after 30 Nov. they will still say deadline is April 18 2017. Nigeria is not serious on what they are saying. I don't value their words again. I will only watch and see.

American n China india has more population than Nigeria yet ery house in those countries has meter

but here metre is a big deal why not order them to meter every house even if they want us to pay for it i will pay so wtf is their problem

asking someone who traveled for over two months to pay u for electricity bills or telling me to pay eight thousand every month with no distribution of light is corruption

Thats one of the major reasons why they been dragging feet with steady supply of rechargeable meter...Pay as you use wont favor them nor satisfy their hunger for monthly target.

While NERC is busy registering potential meter installation contractors for certification, disco companies are awarding same to unqualified faf who knew nothing a out electricity. The result is that these registered/qualified contractors will now be subcontractors to their pastor, friends, family, cult members for a cheaper fees. That will be very bad for the discos unfortunately ignorantly. The after effect is not being able to account for their energy.

Why not take time to understand the post before commenting? This isn't meter sharing but a way of curbing the excesses of High Consumers, mostly factories, and other industries who prefer to adopt the fixed technique, rather than prepaid. They use electricity the most and are often times, the major sources of corruption in the power sector.

Since I was born, FG have been "ordering " this and that no one one works nor is obeyed.
Ask them to stop billing till the meters are provided if it won't surface in two weeks.
