So I decided to go for hormonal profile on day 3,and 21 but on getting to the lab, I was told that since I wasn't specifically asked to do for a particular day say day 3 or 21 by a doctor, they will advise I do day 16 which is the normal practice in the lab and with that, they will be able to tell if I ovulate in that cycle or not. Please I need an answer cos I don't want to waste my moni as my main reason for the test is to know if my hormone is balance or not. Thanks in advance

My 4 bottles of Kunu Aya Drink (Tiger Nuts + Dates + Coconut). Made this morning, tastes great and in the Freezer chilling. In a bid to extract all possible juice and to also decrease the thickness, I lost a bit of its sweetness cos I didn't buy much Dabino. I used my initiative and added 2 spoons of honey and that restored the original taste. Soft Dabino tastes like Honey and Honey is natural and great for lots of things. So if you ever encounter this, use your initiative and do something similar.

I also got creative with the chaff, I melted butter added the chaff and added honey, mixed and molded in squares, put in a plastic plate lined with nylon an popped into the Freezer. Tastes yummy. I'll see if it's able to freeze up and what the texture is like. If it freezes just like chocolate, then it's definitely a win for me and might also be a great kiddies snacks. Will report back on this with pics later.

Just hearing this for the first time. I wouldn't want to discredit the Lab, But Even if it's right / done, it's a very uncommon practise. I'll suggest you go with the popular and common practice that almost every Dr and everyone who knows about Fertility test can relate with.

That's how early ttc years when I never sabi anything, I went for CD21 test and was informed that there are other hormonal tests. The Lab guy convinced me and I did both FSH, LH etc on CD 21. At the end it was a waste of my money. I don't even know how their juju catch me that I didn't even call my Dr then to verify if I should do the tests na him send me go for the CD21 test. Much later Dr explained that he didn't request for the other tests because they're better done on CD3 and I had already passed that before I came to him and that's why he decided to start with just Progesterone.

. Hello Nneejima, your post touched me and I had to come out from my peeping mode. I registered last year but I have never commented. Sorry for the long post, I will try and summarise the ordeal I went through before I conceived. I perfectly understand what you are going through as I went through 27 months TTC. Hubby and I ran so many tests in different hospitals but we were told unexplained infertility and I quote one of my doctors "natural delay". I did HSG and my tubes were opened, I had no fibriod. I went from on church to the other, even travelled to different states to no avail. I wasted money on all these fake prophets and pastors. I decided to pray for God's mercy on my own, which I did for seven days mid night early this year. I ran into an old friend of mine in march, was surprised that she has a baby because I knew she had issues trying to conceive. She was shocked that I was waiting on God for the fruit of the womb. She told me of one herbal local mid wife in Ewereni but I refused because I had also spent so much money on different herbal women but nothing happened. She pleaded and told me that this woman is different, that she has referred over 30 TTC ladies to her, that they all conceived within two months except one who is yet to conceive as she has 2blocked tubes. After much persuasion, I travelled though with serious doubts. I met with the woman who checked me, it didn't take her 5 minutes to detect what was wrong with me. I argued and argued with the mama because I have done so many scans and tests in different hospitals even in pathcare and I was told I was perfectly okay. The mama is a strong christian and doesn't talk much, she just said my daughter just take the herbs I'm giving to you because scan doesn't show everything. She gave me herbs that i took for a month. She also reset my womb for 3 days and i spent a total of 5 days there. I paid 15k for everything and was shocked because i have spent so much more in different places without results. I reluctantly started taking them and I later noticed that my body changed, i felt lighter within me. I conceived this June after taking the medication in April. Till now I'm shocked because I always symptom check every month but I felt nothing the month I conceived so I felt the herbs didn't work but I thank God who has finally remembered me and wiped my tears. Nobody will fully understand what it really feels like when you have challenges TTC unless the person has gone through it. I wish you strength and want to remind you that God has not forgotten you as HE neither slumber no sleeps.
