U should start ANC immediately u are 14wks already. But hope you've been taking prenatals o. You should feel d kicks well around 20-22wks. U go soon see rolling, flipping and summersaulting.

@ enkaydewdrop, had my bath after 2weeks postnatal check but like other mamas said,cover and have ur bath then clean religiously with cotton wool and spirit(4-6times /day)
Use condom ooo madam to avoid stories that touch, if e no sweet, add sugar/honey
@esof1, pls take care of ur self, wen mine broke down,it wasn't restitched. Was told to do sitz bath religiously and it healed,i know it's very painful but pls try sit well and ask ur doctor is no need to re stitch . Get help plsssssssssss

Thanks for this detailed review, am glad to see one from a Nigerian, not all the Oyibo ones that is all online. Am planning to Cloth Diaper when I have LOs. From all my research, I've narrowed methods I'd like to try to AIO, Fitteds and maybe Pockets and Flats. Flats will be for emergencies though and to also serve as a booster to the Pockets when needed. AIO for ease of use for others who would have to change babies. But I think am gonna love the fitted more due to higher absorbency. Do you have any brand you'd recommend for experience? What's your thought on China Cheapies? China Pockets are what I've found to be available and affordable in Nigeria though, the Rumparooz brand though available on an online diaper store is quite expensive.

I will try and keep it brief this time ...... if i can!
I can give you the UK prices but you may be able to find on amazon or other online stores for other prices. I have no experience with Rumperooz or the china brands but am sure you will be able to find some that work for you as they cant all be that bad!

For the fitteds:
I use totbots bamboozles size 2 this is the ideal size as it caters from 8lbs to 35+. In the UK they do a package of 5 nappies +1 wrap for about £75. If you get the size 1 this will only take you from about 6lbs to 21lbs or so.

I also use little lambs bamboo fitted nappies. These come in 3 sizes ands you will have size 1 from birth to about 21lbs, size 2 from 21lbs to 35, and size 3 from 35+ .
These are a bit cheaper cos i got a night time kit of 5 nappies , reuseable liners and boosters and 2 wraps for about £36.

There was another deal in the shop i bought for 10 little lamb nappies, 3 wraps and boosters + liners and you have a choice in the sizes you want. Mainly sizees 1 and 2. By size 3 most children are potty trained. This is going for about £60 if i remember correctly. Size 1 comes with a separate booster while size 2 and 3 have it attached.

I am very happy with these. And can easily use additional boosters if required.

For all-in-ones I use ( all of which need boosting now)

bambino mios miosolo - nice fit, fun colours, good size range

tot bots- had issues with leaks through the leg seams when nappy is saturated but i just either use a hemp booster or change quicker when using this.

grovia all in ones - very very trim, organic cotton interior but i need to boost.. can only use my small hemp or bamboo boosters but all in all ok.

Bum genious freetime- really happy with this one. Havent had any leaks perse.


Pockets i use: ( both come with 2 sizes of microfibre inserts)
Fuzzi bunz - super trim. No size snaps, adjusted with elastic at the legs and waist. I really love this one.... when i boost it though.

Happy heinys- this has a very large size range and is one of the first ones i used for less than 7 or 8 lbs. Still in the fence about this one.


Others:
Grovia hybrid: i have these as a few wraps with a couple each of organic cotton and staydry inserts/ soakers. This is very trim. I love the fit and quality

I also have a few prefolds that i secure with a snappy
For the smaller size prefolds i got them second hand as i wasnt sure if i was going to like them. I got a larger size from osocozy.
I use the smaller size for changing pad liner and as an insert occasionally

Charcoal bamboo with a microfibre core.... i have couple flat ones and the gusseted ones. i also use this as a booster or pop two in a wrap in their own. I know you can get this on amazon as a friend in naija did but the ones i got were from baba + boo

I also got some hemp inserts from hemp babies. I have different sizes from the very trim ones which fit well into my trimmer nappies to the large one the size of a large prefold.

I also have some bamboo flats from little lambs. These are supposed to be as inserts for their pocket nappies but the size 2 is ideal as a flat nappy for a new born/ smaller baby and secured with a snappy. I now use it to wrap around my microfibre inserts for my pockets... and it works well.

As i mentioned in the earlier post, i also used muslins. The large ones. You just have to fold them. And you can add one or two boosters as your baby grows.

For the wraps i have :
Apart from the little lambs, tot bots, and grovia hybrids which are all very interchangeable with other systems i also have:

Flip - i have only one of this and i got only because i really liked the print....... yeah fickle... i know

Milova- nice prints i only got this because they have a micro fleece liner on the inside and i use them with the gusseted charcoal bamboo inserts or for pad folding as i feel much comfortable that it is fabric touching ababy's skin as opposed to plastic..... but this is just me. Many other people dont mind!

Blueberry coveralls - really nice fit, double leg gussets and fab prints.

So there you have it! my nappy stash.
Got my little lamb from this site below... .. as they had better deals than going with the main little lamb website. Dont know if they deliver outside the UK though.
little lambs are quite affordable and are good quality, i like their fitteds and i have read good reviews on their pocket nappies.

both of them can be in cephalic position, it even makes it easier. my leading twin has turned from cephalic to a sitting position while the other still maintains its cephalic position. they are weighing 1.4kg and 1.3kg respectively. im worried if there is still room for him to turn again

That 'swelling' of one side is braxton hicks o ooo. Your uterus contracts and hardens, causing one side to 'rise' or 'swell ' for some seconds before relaxing again. We are gradually moving to the end....

Ask your Doctor how long you will be taking the meds. The pains on your ribs is a likely indication that baby has not descended yet, hence he/she kicks are felt on your ribs. Sorry about the pains. Once baby descends, you won't feel the pains on your ribs. You will feel pains in pelvis more..

Spina bifida is real mama! I don't pray same for you baby o! But folic acid taking in the first weeks of pregnancy helps prevent it. No matter the quantity of drugs you are placed on abeg take them o! Your babys health is utmost my dear.

Your doctor will prescribe the prenatal's you'd be taking, pregnacare is very popular.
