when do you change their water?
what were the things you did.?
How many times do you feed them?
Cause I feel juveniles after two weeks should be few inches slightly above Jumbo size.

i want to know the feasibility of using a bio sand filter to replace the bio filter considering that a bio sand filter is very slow and the fact that the biofilter needs to b on a 24hr working cycle to keep the bacteria alive which is quite expensive

gudevenin sir, they where 7 inches, i gave them coppens 2mm, i change their water when its due like 2-3 days, u can even change ur water after 1 days cos ur water can get polluted due to overfeeding...... That is y we are advice not to over feed our fishes because frequent changing of water streeses the fish also i feed them twice a day(9:00am-5:00pm) to satiation. Note: on the day of their arriver i gave them anti-strees and after 1 week i mix booster/vitamin-c to their feeds cos i notice some hav broken skull. My broda that was all i did, i hop i answer all ur questions also feel free 2 ask on any area u don't understand thank U sir and God bless. Below is @ 1 month and 6days.

there are also solar biofilter. If your sand filteration could supply clear,unpolluted water like in case of some aquaponics, also provided the slowness in filteration does not inhibit aeration,it is worth trying,though i would suggest that either you do the solar or visit durantee for biofilter component(if they still have),then create a cruel method of filteration. In whatever filteration, we should know oxygen is key & removal of ammonia.

pls where is durantee? what i meant by cost is the cost of keeping a pump running all day in view of erratic power supply. also pls hw does a solar biofilter work and where can i get it pls

solar biofilter, clarify water,reduce/remove ammonia,aerate your pond,prevent buildup algae/spirogyra. You will import,but i dont know if kingdom aquarium sells.Powered by sun.Durantee is at challenge,ibadan.

abeg una help me oh...my condition is critical, actually like 2 of my fishes has bin sent to d emergency section of my pond. they r peeling dia skin,they r turning white and their eyes r blood red plus they can't even float abeg make una gimme advice on wet in to do and drugs to buy . a beg oh ,please , biko before all my fishes die
