Greeting to fruitful mamas, pls what can I do to clear these follicles on my ovaries? Went for TVs yesterday. Here is d result. Normal sized anteverted uterus. D outline is smooth. AP dimension is 3.8cm. No focal mass in d myometrium. Endometrial plate measures abt 7mm. It shows a trilamilar appearance. Ovaries are normal in size,numerous small sized follicles are noted in d periphery of both ovaries. D stroma of each ovary is thickened. D pod is empty. That is after taking vitex for 8 month but stop taking last two month. Metformin for d past one year,still on it and dieting. Pls wat else can I do as am not seeing any gyne for now cos DH is tired. Legendsmother, sorry about ur health...happy u and dh feel better now. IMO, I think u should follow d woman's procedure strictly and leave oyibo medicine for now at least until u get ur BFP or u are sure u want to discontinue. I don't think u should mix both. Take it a step at a time.

@Shat01, u did not mention what day of ur cycle u took the test, but i must say u are on the right track with diet change and the rest. Your scan looks clean, which means u just need to O

The aim should be to have a dominate follicle and ensure you ovulate regardless of the numerous small sized follicles as you may not be able totally eradicate them, thats why cysters usually undergo induction alongside metformin i would advise u work closely with a gynea to achieve ovulation and please stay way from clo.mid and all forms of sugar. if u want to induce O on ur own, i have heard a lot of good reviews about Le.tro.zole. Fvine should be able to advise more based on personal experience.

I know it can be tiring but we cannot afford to give up without reaching our goal. God will give you the strength. I would say map out a plan so you are armed with info and then find a doc that you feel comfortable with, timing and approach matters alot in handling issues.

@Towerofgrace, it was done on day 10 of my cycle. I now ve a regular cycle of 30 and 31 days. Am not seeing any gyne for now o, hubby is not cooperating. But am planning to go to FMC and c if I can get a gyne there, it will b cheaper. Tnx so much for d response. Baby dust to everyone.

This God is indeed faithful, my very good friend just gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, after 7 miscarriage she had her first child and after miscarriage of twins she took in for this baby and it wasn't easy, threaten miscarriage and even premature labour but at last God saw her thru. She don born she and baby very OK. In fact today is good news for me, just confirm my younger sister that did her wedding in may this year is pregnant. Am so happy because I know am next to testify in Jesus name. This month God will give us rest from TTC in Jesus name.

That's a good plan, cos it won't cost so much. I can understand DH jare, it can get discouraging attimes

I think some mamas in preggy thread have used FMC gbaja (cc: Zaynie, Kaffy4bill) you can ask them to get more info.

since it was done on cd10 i wouldn't rule out that you won't or don't O. having a 30/31 days cycle, ideally means u should O on cd16/cd17, i would suggest u repeat the TVS on cd14 atleast just to know what is happening even, by then a dominate follicle should be present, just that they didn't include the size of any follicle in this to have a sort of comparism.
