Adaure4ever: One does not necessarily have to be rich to contribute. When Imo Airport was built people contributed what they could afford and with present day situation anything from 500 Naira is good. The important thing is to make everything transparent. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I had a feeling this chick is one of those SE supremacist people. Why am I not surprised? See how she included Akwa ibom in her equation but Asaba, Ogwashi uku, etc were excluded. I guess we are inconsequential in her mind. Mschewwwwwwwww. This coming from the girl who claimed to be "fighting for igbo". We can clearly see where your "fighting for igbo" starts and end. Worthless thread...only you stay opening useless thread...clap for yourself 4 Likes 1 Share |

Our people like talking unrealistic nonsense. Everyone should go and develop their own state at their own pace. Enough of all these useless threads here and there that does not reflect reality. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Adaure4ever: Did I say Delta North as in all? Since when did ika and ukwani having identity crisis within their communities now the voice of all delta north? Oh in your head, Asaba, ogwashi-uku, etc have identity problem? Within your community, don't you SE have dilemma as well? Didn't aguleri and umuleri fight amongst themselves. Aren't they still fighting? Aren't few set of onitsha people claiming non igbo but you ignore those few because most onitsha claim igbo but don't do the courtesy for us. Hell i didn't see you excluding the idoma amd igala communities found in Enugu and Anambra state...last I checked, they aren't claiming igbo. But for us, "you have identity crisis" so inconsequential. Just look at you. Move!!!!!! SE supremacist. Na only you be the igbo community. Onye Ara. Waka!!!!!!!!!! 9 Likes 1 Share |

They are proposing to form SEDC when they even find it a tall order to unite. Anambra with their supremacist swagger will always make other igbos feel like osu caste to them, in their usual practise. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

AgentOrange:Stop this shitt and respect yourself, damnit. The US did not become a nation of 50 states overnight. Many of the states had to apply to join the union. Pueto-rico is still today trying to become the 51st US state even though it is already a US protectorate. Stoping forcing people and creating enmity where it shouldn't exist. Develop the SE first and see if others would not want to join. 9 Likes |

Yampotatocarrot:It is a tall dream but not unrealistic. The problem with some of us is that we identify a problem, propound some solution and without testing or weighing options we run it down as unrealistic because of some personal feelings. I know my people, when we come together forge a course ahead we always gain a goal against all odds. This zeal can only be harnessed with proper organisation. Look closely to investments flowing into the region lately you will notice it is because of self reawakening of our people and govt. For example Take a look at the number of power stations (both proposed and on-going) in the region, you will notice it is still been done on unorganised manner, this is because there is no body or institution managing it to include a region wide approach. That is why i supported what ada wrote on the need to form a development agency that will for see to these kind of regional developments, but I am not in support of the financeing part were she tends to place all the burden on the state or on the possible agency. Such approach will clearly be a clog to the wheel of the agency as some states will be unwilling to under take such. But a more realistic approach is were i. This agency has the obligation to identify, harness, plan, and enforce some of it plans. ii. States within the agency will work according to the regional plan as well plead for some modification if there be a need. iii. The private sector then has to take over most of the capital projects in collaboration with the regional govt. 2 Likes |
