travelpoint:

Too much questions, get the visa first.

Okay I need your advice.

I submitted my application yesterday however, I am afraid the agent made a damning mistake.

I was denied a UK visa in 2012 and I am sure I filled it in on the form the guy gave us, however when he brought back the completed online application he selected no.

I'm confused as to what to do now, although I have since renewed my passport but surely, they have a way of detecting right ?.

Hey guys. I got a single entry visa to Canada in May. I have gone for my engagement and am back in Nigeria after spending three weeks in Canada. If I want to reapply for a visit visa or study permit to Canada again, will I need as much documents as I used in the first application or do Canada has visa renewal policy like US? Thanks all

Hi All,

Just wanted enquire about processing time for visitor visa to canada. On the website it says 37 days as of July 11, 2016. My friend applied May 9, 2016 through online process and nothing till date.

Anyone recently applied through online process that can give input/their status update?

Hi all,

Applied for visit visa through online means on 14th May 2016. Did biometrics on 19th May 2016 and status changed from "we need the applicants biometrics" to "not needed at this time" Since then all has gone quiet.

Will contact VFS to know the status of my application I guess.

Booking.com is legit but opt to pay on arrival so you can get a chance to see the hotel.

The rates wouldn't go up.

Contacted VFS and they requested my tracking ID. After checking they said I should check my CiC account for updates. Not exactly sure what that means.

Are you not the one that did the ONLINE application yourself? They are talking of the portal from which you did. Log in and check from there, VFS can't. The next time they will be of help to you on this your application will be if and when you are asked via your CIC account to forward your passport or anything else to the embassy, that is all.

To be honest with you, you've applied for the appropriate visa for them. You're a student, a presumed temporary resident as well so, you couldn't have applied for a different visa category. If you presented the appropriate documents to buttress their applications, there shouldn't be issues. Be as positive as you were when you applied for your student visa. Trust God for a positive outcome. I have a hint for would-be applicants here, paper route is the best option for now. You get faster treatment and within 3 weeks max, your passport is ready for collection. I've heard of those who applied via paper route recently and had their passports back in less than 2 weeks, with visas.
