tdayof: pls read the links DHQ Reacting to the development, Defence Headquarters, Abuja, said there was no aerial bombardment of the Arepo because of the critical infrastructure which involved oil and gas pipelines playing pivotal services to the nation’s economy. Acting Director of Defence Information, Brig-General Rabe Abubakar, who gave the clarification last night, however, said what happened was that the military and security agencies, in a joint operation codenamed Operation Awathe , under the Command of the Defence Headquarters, carried out a normal security operation to wipe out pipeline vandals and oil and gas criminals bent on sabotaging the economic assets of the nation. He noted that there was no way the military could have bombarded the area because of the environmental damage that would also be inflicted on the area. Abubakar said: “Arepo is of critical importance to the nation and the infrastructure on ground has cost the nation huge resources to put in place. It is true we have received complaints and petitions about the activities of vandals and criminals causing problems and destroying pipelines and siphoning crude. “But the military did not and cannot bomb the critical economic infrastructure in place there.” vanguard news DHQ denied bombing the area. 1 Like |

joyandfaith:I never said it was bombed. Did I write the article? My opinion was that the military dealt with the militants. You do not expect bombs to be dropped in such area. However surgical airstrikes can be conducted. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Those clamouring for war and hailling the militants hAve no ideal of war itself! And more so, Yoruba Land is not a place where militant can have free ride! You can't just misbehave there! Yoruba parent will expose his own child for wrong doing let alone one baaastard militant! Rest in hell lazy dudes and in advance for those that will still die in ND. Yeye people 25 Likes 5 Shares |

Operation Awatse in full swing. It should be noted that local vigilantes collaborated with the Army, Navy and Police in this particular mission. It is time to send the ijaw militant to hades 9 Likes 1 Share |

You follow tell them ?? hhahahahaha , I will go through my mentions again some goats said Yorubas are cowards , said we are getting killed in scores in our own land , and i told him if OPC decides to flush these goats out, it will turn to Yoruba vs Ibo , which is what they want in the first place Yoruba elders met with Ijaw / Igbo Elders to warn their kids, i do not think that meeting went well either But like we've always said , Yoruba elders won't just fold their arms or order youths to fight, we do it reasonably , and that's what just happened Just sad i wasn't able to comment on first page, i would have listed those goats you were rejoicing over the shooting in Ogun , it would have been fun alade112: 14 Likes 3 Shares |

Early bad news for Ipods and Ugandans. Flush out all criminals from SW. We do not condone criminality. Lesve the ones in SS alone, if their leaders are in support of the criminals claiming they are avenging the electoral loss of their son and corrupt hero. 16 Likes 4 Shares |

superstar1: I'm sure this news of military bobardment is giving most of them head and heart trauma.... they can no longer taunt our people... even since that loud mouthed Akpbabio made his claim that SW was "too peaceful" in the midst of national chaos, they've been orchestrating a war with our people.. Anyone that wants to commit suicide by daring the armed forces, should stay in their lands and do it... our cowardice pay us, they thought they were going to drag SW into armed conflict and then use that as front to start trouble in... They will learn the hard way. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Izonpikin: You love your land but Yorubas shouldn't love theirs and watch disgruntled mofos fight proxy war on it? This is Nigeria, the country has a constitution that empowers the federal government to administer all that on land & underneath including its waters! It also empowers any citizen to live, do business, work, thrive and grow anywhere they get any opportunity to & choose to settle... Till that changes, you will only be online to lament... Nothing you can do about it, it's the hard truth... As for the miscreants, no one can claim not to have in their region but these ones are Ijaw militants, even the non Yoruba residents of those locations have attested to that fact. 13 Likes 2 Shares |
