An officer of the Nigerian Navy, Lt.-Cdr Olumide Adewale, has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that he helped his former boss, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, to transport money, which was flown to Akure and later handed over to Abiodun Agbele on the instructions of Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State. http://punchng.com/n4-7bn-fraud-transported-poll-funds-obanikoro-says-ex-aide/

In as much as I disagree with the modus operandi of the Buhari-led APC government (as regards the anti-corruption war) - mostly because many of them are very corrupt themselves - I still believe that these PDP topnotchers deserve what they are getting. The only thing I hate is the effect it's having on all of us, the 'ordinary' citizens. PDP had destroyed Nigeria with their culture of 'sharing the money'. How can someone stand in court and narrate how he was instructed to share some ridiculous amount of money meant for arms deal among the PDP leaders? Under a watchful eye of a living, a sitting and an active President? I still try not to believe this. It is so unbelievable! It's all kinds of wrong. Abomination! For 16 years, the PDP ruled this country with impunity! They did whatever they deemed fit, without qualms. They kept sharing this country's money among themselves, that the word 'share/sharing' became almost innate in them. Little wonder why, Patience Jonathan, during one of her theatrics on TV, cried out, "all these blood you are SHARING...", when in actual sense she meant 'SHEDDING'. Because 'sharing' (of money) had become the order of the day. I'm not a fan of Buhari - unless, of course, he does the unbelievable and changes for good - but PDP? No way! Apart from his Northern-based appointments, the state of the economy of the nation and the fact that he works with some very corrupt officials while fighting corruption, Buhari and the APC is still better than this waste called the PDP. Their impunity crippled Nigeria! They should all be jailed for life! But then, the lives of the 'ordinary' Nigerians should be improved, as they've been the ones suffering these anomalies. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 41 Likes 7 Shares |

The truth is gradually coming out. To be sincere, Gej is the greatest fraudster in the history of this country. I cannot imagine a president presiding over the movement of such amount to one state just for election when there are many abandon projects scattered all over the country. And some foolish and misguided fellow still call him the best president. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Do you know how large 1 billion naira is ?? E go full one room, not to talk of 4.7 billion. You deposited the money in someones bank account ??A bank safe can't hold that large amount of money. How much does Lagos state generate in a single year ?? But a shitty state generated more than enough to have 4.7 million stole from it and no one knew that large amount of money was stolen ??
