@Brabus: is there no way the Frame below (from your pix) can be achieved without cutting and re-welding the iron? I have Pressure./Press moulding in mind. So as to still maintain uniform structural strength. Also, what is the thickness of the H-frame used? I am sure other builders are learning new things from you. Lastpage!

lastpage: What you have asked is achievable with manually operated roll benders (with two-fixed and one moveable roller) and I think that frame is more of U-channel than H. I'm hoping to fabricate my own roll-benders in the nearest future when my pocket is tight.. 1 Like |

WeldHome: WeldHome, I'm not a Pro in this field! I'm just a go-getter like one of my friend here. Impossible is not in my record. I used "U" channel for the bending because I might end up using curved glass (toughened) for the balustrade. For now, it's glass or nothing else according to the client. It'll be easy to fix the glass to the frames you know. Keep up the good job and let's keep exchanging ideas here and everywhere else It's great fun you know. |

n3xt: Mo kan n'just joking ni Oooo! Mo mor Kondition to'wa! Honestly, l think you should be even more choosy in responding to baits. I have seen one in the previous page and l was like, "if na me, l will just allow this comment to pass" because l new the person was trying to bait you. But credit to you, despite your past mistakes, you have an "open heart" to everyone and answer them as such. I pray God will give you wisdom as you progress further. BTW: I was referring to what @WeldHome described: Rollers, though l think it will require more than "manual" pressure to roll the ones you are using. Lastpage! 3 Likes |

WeldHome: I agree with you 100%. Even myself and many others will not identify in real life, with what we post there! Serious "Regional" fight there! But the good thing is that most of us know it ends online. In the real world, we are all Brothers, irrespective of where we come from, which party we support or whatever. Lastpage! |

n3xt: Is the channel meant to be visible after the job is done or you'll cover it with something? Also, will there be a concrete deck within that area you're fabricating the U-channel? |

lastpage: **smiles** I know I'm in for another Big one cos you knew how to push me to extreme. I only have pressure machine for bending tubes on site The shape could be achieved with an electronically programmed Tube Bender for a more perfect shape and to maintain its solid form. The U Channel used is 3mm guage. We will get there on day. 1 Like 1 Share |

WeldHome:You are very correct sir . Your comments may even be misconstrued. I've been shown nothing but love from nairaladers from both divide. It's best to just read comments or stay neutral except the government aren't making it easy to maintain neutrality in government. I literally laugh my butt of reading comments from both divides of all classification and have learnt not to take anything personal there. |

WeldHome: That's why I used U channel and not H because I don't want the channel to be visible and also want a well finished flat face. Sure, there'll be a deck. Composite metal deck. You know about it. 1 Like |

@ WeldHome, this might be the final look of the work when completed. At least that's what the Oga OK'd for now. Already in talks with a glass bending company in Amuwo Odofin.

WeldHome: Again, I'm not a lecturer. I'm equally a student with a strong will and determination. I read a lot. For the glass structure im doing, here's something I'm reading at the moment. It has all the interesting details, plans, material list and elements needed so it make the work easier.

mufutau55: Purechem cable is also good, though ihave not use it. One of their marketer met me on one site. And gave me the catalogue. Since the cables is manufactured in Nigeria, it will be better than imported. Nigerchin cable has one quality that I appreciate most. Their insulation is perfect. Doesn't peel anyhow when pulling the cables |

WeldHome: It's the master's suite. A place the Oga at the top would like to unwind without leaving the comfort of his bedroom. Inside almost 80m2, you can be anything you like without disturbing anyone. WeldHome: Amazon and I also have a good supplier of book of interest in Lagos. |

n3xt: No Sir, l am not pushing you at all.... just learning. Seriously, your idea made me think about a build l did and l wanted the Cantilever to be like 15ft (the average is around 3/4ft l think) and was told l would need a Column under it..... but l dont want a column/Pillar under it because the below is meant for children to play and l dont want then running into a pillar. Now, if you had come-up with this yoru crazy idea, maybe l would have borrowed it and told my workers "It can be done, see pinshure here.." Every Dog has its own day sha. I am following this build sharp-sharp Lastpage! BTW: So there are people like me who still have faith in the ability of Brabus, despite all the 'noise'? Wonders shall never end 1 Like |

n3xt: The advantage l see in you even though you did not start-out as a Builder, is your penchant for new ideas, coupled with your educational pedigree! But l will advice you, try-out these ideas elsewhere first, you know as much as l do that you cant afford to use a customer's job to try-out new ideas...... what if it does not work as expected nko? I do understand that you are not trying to re-invent the wheel here but at times, your "audaciousness" scares me! Even at that, It is often said that "only the daring can do great things". It may not be a bad idea, to allow another, educated professional(s) to take a look at it as you go along and ask them to "critique" what you are doing..... so you can take advantage of what they might see, that YOU might not see.
