While I admire your courage to go into farming against societal norm, I must admit I don't see myself doing this. |

Excellent! Do you have a readily available market? Tomato is perishable with a pretty short shelf life. How about planting it vertically using sticks as support? What's the cost breakdown from sowing to harvest, including labour? How do you source your seeds? Please enlighten us. 2 Likes |

Nice one Op, have always wanted to do same, but unfortunately i no longer live in a compound that has land space, i was constrained when i formally lived in the North by Alimonjiris because they usally jump into the house and clear my backyard, even the weed/grasses were never speared. Anyways have been using Google to learn and research on how to use buckets or sacks, please any advise from you ? |

Ijaya123: Pls don't buy into the mass hysteria. Absolutely nothing wrong with GM foods. Even the FDA has ok'd it. Besides the Internet is not always an authoritative source of info. You can find evidence of aliens on the Internet. |

ExInferis: My friend. Genetically modified foods are very dangerous to the health. it is being banned in Germany and some other european countries are following suit. Dont be deceived by the appeasing talks. even in the us when you go to the super mart, it must be stated if a food is GM or not for the buyers to make their decision. Also you need to understand that GM in the food industry would allow sentimental greed set in like the disastrous effect it had in india. most countries are restricting GM crops to non edible crops like cotton and rubber. 1 Like |
