Political Criminals that looted government funds gets to return the money and walk away scotfree.. Militants that blew up pipelines, economically sabotaged the nation, kidnapped and killed people and terrorized the nation get rewarded with Amnesty and a steady paycheck. NYSC Corp members who are positive contributors to society do not receive up to half of what a Militant gets from the Government and on top of that the NYSC member is expected to contribute to the society in form of CDS, the Militant isn't. The Nigerian Teachers, Doctors, Police and other civil servants are treated like shiit with Salaries owed for long periods of time and working under sub-human conditions atimes but the Militant is hallowed by the Government. How Da Fhuck did we get to this point as a nation? |

Why pay them? Instead of attacking the problem that lead to militancy, you pay them? The money that should be payed to them, should be used to clean up ND and create jobs! |

And the federal government continue to ply the wrong path!! Paying of ex-militants won't stop the bombing of pipelines The federal government should note there's genuine agitation that's capable of destroying the sovereignty of Nigeria, hence restructure is the only way forward. |

[quote author=LoveMachine post=48065122] Peace costs less than war. Imagine if we had negotiated from the start. No oil installation bombings. No power outages. Increased revenue. Funding for capital projects. Dare I say we may have averted this present quagmire of recession. The payments are a small price for peace & development. [/quote The question that comes to bare to me is, why did the Buhari Government, stop their payment initially? The last time I checked, Government is a continuum. I don't just understand this administration's idea of Governance at all, I think they are practicing Northernocracy as opposed to Democracy. 5 Likes |

Nigerians are full of shit. I read comments here and I know for sure that nothing ever satisfies them. People only comment because they have never been in such predicament that they will see themselves totally unsafe and innocent people are killed for nothing. Be wise because this same Nigeria is ours and the moment you fail to embrace peace when needed and the saga meets you or your family, then you will really know how much pain that is. 2 Likes |
