I was born and lived my college days in Nigeria and I was once of your opinion until I live somewhere else. The system has to work for people can think straight and profess solutions and take the nation to greater height. A situation you don't know where your next meal is coming from is not a situation to think. A situation everyday you go to work seems like your last day is not a situation to think.
We need to sit down as a nation and talk about the basic. The economy and the national in general needs to be restructure into a more sustainable way.

All the developed nations we admire faced the same situation, but they made lemon water out of lemon, they get creative and proffer solutions to their problems government or no government.

They say necessity is the mother of invention, but the average Nigerian youths want to be spoon fed without using their God's given brain.

Inventions and solutions emanates out of necessities and mot the other way around..

It's the same situation where some useless governors begged the FG for common bridge for 30 years while their mates in other states are building their own bridge in no time. They beg for road, they beg for airport, they beg for every damn thing when in fact they collect taxes and allocations from their people..

FG is not your daddy and progress and development is our collective responsibility, not just the FG.

Obasanjo brought ICT and GSM, where were you when Jonathan tried to sell NIGCOMSAT to his buddies ??

The power deal Fashola made with a japanese or was it chinese firm , that's nothing ? and your brothers blowing up pipelines what's their deal ??

It's easy to blame the government for the crimes we commit , but in this case , i know Buhari is doing his best and things are changing for the better

I just dey siddon look UNA. APC has failed. No tangible policies on ground just empty promises everyday. People that I know who were APC's staunchest supporters last year are now condemning them especially our northern brothers and sisters. My Lagos Yoruba brothers and sisters please wake up o cos it's already too late. We are in a mess. People have lost their jobs and are still losing jobs. My company just sacked their workers last week Friday just because the economy is bad. What more prove do you want when you can not even buy food in the market? Let's do the necessary and kick these people out of power. Unfortunately that's in 2019, 3 more years to suffer this great heinous mistake that we have made.

point of corrections, nigerians are not lazy but government officials are lazy not we civilians. Government are lazy officials because dey refuse to provide basic amenities for dia citizens such as pipe born water, constact electricity, good road. With dis many citizens will shun government employment jobs even private jobs and employ themselves because dia basic need is provided. Wat prove dat our government officials are lazy type is dia children because no one is richer Dan dia parent and most of dem a parasite? In saner climes, Osibanjo's challenge is a call to duty , some people would ask the government to iron their clothes , wash their pants and even spoon feed them if they could

Living in the western world's reality when indeed they live, have lived and continue to live in Africa , and those are the people who hail likes of FFK, Fayose, Metuah and Co

[size=13pt]Your statement is bold fraudulence.

You mention ...
1). clothe ironing,
2). pant-washing
, and
3). spoon-feeding,

when Osibanjo clearly mentioned...
1). smart electricity,
2). smart education,
3). smart healthcare
and
4). smart agriculture,
things that constitute the very core of the government's responsibilities.

It is a fact that any private company or entrepreneur may pursue any of these for the promise of profit if it/he/she succeeds, but it is very dissappointing of Mr. Osibanjo to try to trickily transfer the burden of responsibility for his administrations core responsibilities upon the masses.

Although I say it is disappointing, it is also revealing as it gives us great insight into what might be going on in the heads of those in govt right now.

I agreed with some of your points Sir but the reality is still the same. Nigeria is a difficult place to survive and the present administration is making it worse without concrete econimic plans and policies. Nobody thinks when they are hungry and the high price of basic food is an indication we are far from our promise land.

You're asking the farmers to protect themselves?

No be dem wan protect diaselves
Stop eagles from playing ball and see how ppl will flood the streets but when it's a serious thing everyone will say at home waiting for auto pilot to kick in

And we pay taxes to the governments which is being used to pay all forms of forces, police the armies and so on and we still need to go ahead and protect ourselves.

Which tax do farmers pay?
Think before you talk.
How many of una de pay tax
You think it's a majority that pays VAT. How many value have you added as an individual.

You're talking about insurance You think every farmer in Nigeria can go for insurance?

Yes they can
They say 'if you think education is expensive, try ignorance'
I'm the same vein ' if you think insurance is expensive, try going commando ' especially in a risky biz like Agric.

Even the old men and women in the villages that got their produce destroyed and even got killed?

See why you need insurance. Yet you all stubbornly ''leave it to GOD '' when you know that statistics don't lie

And how many insurance do you even have on yourself?

health insurance de kampe
And life insurance as soon as I get a beneficiary
Not my fault you're poorly educated

I'm sure you're the type that hides under his mummy's bed and keep typing poo there, coz you sound like you've never faced the reality of every Nigerian struggle b4.

Been there
Done that
And I'm amazed at the ignorance out there
Even by so called educated doll like you

Let me even leave the name calling aside coz it shows how uncivil and ill-matured you are. You claim to be older than me but can't can't have a sound argument without calling names at this your age(if that's even true coz i dont care) lol

I said """God even understood the basics amenities of mankind, that's why he provided the sun, the rain, light and darkness, night and day, soil and water, and so on"""

You said """
And what can you do if he decides to take them doofus"""

I still don't understand how a proposed grown human would reason like this....lol
were you comparing the superiority of God(who can decide to take them & doesn't owe us any explanation) to a human who was elected( since they're also suppose do what they desire without being held accountable for their promises?)

When you said """Wetin concine me with fools that refuse to stand and fight for what they claim to believe in
Eediots that will run away when the going gets tough.
bleeping cowards all of you lot.
You deserve the leaders you get.
Until you learn to stand up for yourselves you will never get any good leaders"""

I thought your ideology was "we were not suppose to task our government on the promises they made. we were suppose to just enter the farm and the solution will appear

So why this statement "until you learn to stand up for yourselves you will never get any good leaders"
The standing up for ourselves means we should all enter farm right? coz that's the baseline of your argument.( Which is even coming from someone who probably has no idea about farming) coz I'm sure you're not in the farm yourself.

do you now see how contradicting you are to yourself?....lol

In your own words """ Exactly what the people asked for

Rice, lies, deceit (personally. I don't think they deceived anybody. You're all grown asss individuals)"""

*About rice* we were suppose to feel stupid(coz it served us right) for voting in politicians that ain't keeping their promises right... Coz your ideology is based on all Nigerian voters asking for rice before voting right.

*About lies* imagine a lady going into a relationship with a player who eventually got her heart broken by the playboy, I guess your ideology is The world should blame the lady for going into the relationship with the player coz she knew it was all lies right

Do you now hear how you sound?? Lol

Lemme restart you back to why this topic was brought up (check the image below)

The VP is challenging us to think and build solutions for:

--Smart electricity-- with our generator like we're doing ofcoz

--Smart education-- when ASUU and school goes on strike at will with exception of their own kids in our education system

--Smart Healthcare-- when they fly abroad for their own treatments

--Smart Agriculture-- when there's awesomely low attention from the government on food security in Nigeria

Lol... I'm not even sure you'll comprehend my post soundly. Goodbye friend wink you don't worth the rest wink

I still don't understand how a proposed grown human would reason like this....lol
were you comparing the superiority of God(who can decide to take them & doesn't owe us any explanation) to a human who was elected( since they're also suppose do what they desire without being held accountable for their promises?)
try a little experiment
Slap a drunk armed soldier
And lay claim to your right to fair hearing and dignity of person
You will find out very rapidly how your ''rights '' can be taken away once you can't back it up

I thought your ideology was "we were not suppose to task our government on the promises they made. we were suppose to just enter the farm and the solution will appear
once again your inability to read and comprehend/bullheadedness(hence the waec reference) exposes your incompetence
So why this statement "until you learn to stand up for yourselves you will never get any good leaders"
The standing up for ourselves means we should all enter farm right? coz that's the baseline of your argument.( Which is even coming from someone who probably has no idea about farming) coz I'm sure you're not in the farm yourself.

blowing grammar on social media is not ''tasking '' your govt
What a willing student would do to learn would be to ask what ''standing up ''meant but obviously you think you know it all and don't need to add to the emptiness between your ears so I will let you wallow in your ignorance

And about the farmin
I have invested in snails poultry and pigs
With fish and plantain and grasscutter on my mind
What's your next excuse
Lack of True federalism Banned you from farming abi

do you now see how contradicting you are to yourself?....lol

no contradiction
You're the functional illiterate

In your own words """ Exactly what the people asked for

Rice, lies, deceit (personally. I don't think they deceived anybody. You're all grown asss individuals)"""

*About rice* we were suppose to feel stupid(coz it served us right) for voting in politicians that ain't keeping their promises right... Coz your ideology is based on all Nigerian voters asking for rice before voting right.

ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding
Finally your Skull is allowing knowledge to seep in
How can any intelligent (allegedly of course) individual vote for a pathological liar with no single track record of integrity who promises what is clearly impossible

*About lies* imagine a lady going into a relationship with a player who eventually got her heart broken by the playboy, I guess your ideology is The world should blame the lady for going into the relationship with the player coz she knew it was all lies right
if you choose to go out with a known wife beater, thief, fraudster, serial cheat then you deserve whatever you get

Do you now hear how you sound?? Lol
truth is bitter innit

Lemme restart you back to why this topic was brought up (check the image below)

The VP is challenging us to think and build solutions for:

--Smart electricity-- with our generator like we're doing ofcoz
solar if you refuse to write letters to them not on an unknown social media that they won't read

--Smart education-- when ASUU and school goes on strike at will with exception of their own kids in our education system
online learning if you refuse to go on strike just before elections instead of just after when they ban afford to call your bluff
--Smart Healthcare-- when they fly abroad for their own treatments
how have protested to show your disapproval
Lemme guess, social media

--Smart Agriculture-- when there's awesomely low attention from the government on food security in Nigeria
when there was awesomely low attention of govt on water and electricity why didn't you thirst to death or lie in perpetual darkness
Lol... I'm not even sure you'll comprehend my post soundly. Goodbye friend wink you don't worth the rest wink

It's clear you can't cope and wouldn't reply you if not for others that are willing to learn

It's just a pity we have to come and fix things for you airheads only for you to fritter it away
