We already know Nigerian leaders such as Abacha who made land mass an issue was useless, unfortunately mis-educated youth now also think along the same line unpardonable logic. Once again, empty, barren, desert, or uninhabitable waste land mass adds nothing most civilizations, except in Nigeria where it is used to calculate and obtain free oil money. Like I said before, Montana is much larger than NY, NJ, and even CT put together, yet Montana resources is less that most local governments in NY. In Africa, Nigeria lags behind giant land mass countries like Algeria, Chad, and Niger republic, yet these countries can't even challenge Nigeria on most indices. http://state.1keydata.com/states-by-size.php Ever wonder how small land mass countries like Britain, Portugal, and Spain were able to conquer large land mass countries like China, Malaysia, and 'Nigeria'? Night education sure has its disadvantages! 1 Like |

dafuturis:From which SE This confusion you're perpetrating is what cost Anioma from being a state in '91 when IBB created those nine States. Due to the confusion from our Anioma leaders, ohaneze couldn't submit Anioma alongside Abia and Enugwu to IBB and since then its been difficult for us. Delta North/Anioma is the next Igbo state and it'd have three senatorial zones viz ika, enuani and ukwuani.. Its capital is asaba and the state ,Anioma would give we the Midwestern=>Bendel=>Delta Igbos the voice we deserve We're Anioma... Anioma bú ofu Though we're of the same state Delta... That doesn't give you the right as a non Anioman to dictate to us where Anioma should be ...whether in SE or SS |

naijaking1:what is the point of land mass if the land 60% of it is desert and useless??they can add Mali barren lands full of arab nomads with their cows dying every min lack of food and water.Fulani cattle rarer should stick with the land mass in the north than fighting other region with small land mass. land mass make no sense if the land is inhabited and useless European countries wealthier than Nigeria a million times are smaller than whole northern and western region |

Dainfamous: Just like Alaska where 80% of the land mass is frozen solid. In Nigeria, a corrupt and evil dictator would find a way to add it to the revenue sharing formula. What use is a small Katsina community of 100 sitting in the middle of the Sahara desert in 100 mile radius of waste and barren landscape compared to Lagos with a population of more than 2 million for the same sizable land mass for example? |

Anambra did not even come second or third. Google it to find out. Check your facts before posting anything on this forum. 7 Likes 1 Share |

dafuturis: From history, Asaba belongs to the Urhobo people and not Delta Ibo. They only accommodated the people known as Delta Ibo today. I don't understand why Igbos are always trying to lay claims to the land of their hosts just the same way they have been telling Yoruba people that Lagos is no man's land. 3 Likes |

Anioma is Igboland. My own grandfather came from Ubulu, present day Delta and crossed into present day Anambra. One day Anioma state will happen. As for the empty inhospitable desert barren lands of the North they can keep it. Sahara is taking over the place and I prefer Igbo land. Igbo land - from Port Harcourt to north of Nsukka is enough and we will develop it massively. Just see Germany - much smaller than Nigeria but look at the two countries. 2 Likes 1 Share |

rlauncher: I m sure you are a Yaliba. Looking to sow discord. Igbos are 50 million strong and Urhobo is how many?? less than 1.5 million at the most na? Urhobo knows better than try Igbos in our homeland na. If you want to know Igbo land - just google it. Meanwhile make Yoruba face the Ijaw/ Ishkeri/ Yoruba fight in Southern Ondo and leave Anioma ( good land) and Asaba alone |

dafuturis: This is a simplistic or rather, a mischievous way of looking at the issue at hand. A better way to look at it is the sustainability index, which takes cognizance of debt and other factors and from the available data to us, SE as a region is more sustainable than Arewa and Odua region. www.nairaland.com/2732630/latest-ranking-states-financial-sustainability 3 Likes |

dafuturis:oh pls keep quiet! I have been reading ur garbage here in the name of commenting. You Ikas should know ur limits, as an Aniocha indigene, Ogwashi Ukwu specific, Ika man should know his limits. You don't speak for Aniomas, Oshimili/Aniocha have their own voice. Take your Igbophobic stupidity and keep it in ika land. Its not need in Oshimili/Aniocha area. Even it is not need in Asaba. As for Ogwashi Ukwu root, We know our history and will happily build a bond with the S.E Igbos.. Ika man, face benin and take ur crap to them. Don't spill it here. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Ugomba: Igbo, cry me a river Mr Anioma speaker, your opinion is infinitesimal in the scheme of things. take your bitterness back into your stomach or better still jump off the Niger bridge. your fellow Igbo spoke of an Agreement reached by Aniomas, help defend him. dafuturis:this guy is just a weirdo. I told u to stop speaking for Anioma and focus on ur ika WHILE I focus on my Aniocha/Oshimili people. So Ogwashi Ukwu is no longer in Delta North? If you bring ur dumb Ika Benin Slave ass to Asaba and spew this rubbish, you may be lynched. Anywhere the Aniocha/Oshimili joint federation goes, Asaba goes with us. Go back to ur backward village.
