The Anambra state budget is measly N101 billion which can not do anything after paying salary and even that N101billion has the usual question mark because the allocation built into it dwindles everyday because of low oil price and destruptions in the Delta.

Even the below minimum wage they are paying can not easily be sustained and this ia why obiano went to hia2 lawmakers to approve N10 billion loan on top of the debt still on their books.

Not surprised at the responses here. It is why are here and the reason why we are the way we are....but the great thing is that Nigeria is beginning to delaminate with each of its constituent parts on different lanes of the highway. Yes, the Lagis economy is doing better than the Federal and Anambra is better managed than the Federal, so it happens in the UK, the US and other developed countries and is an incentive for its constituents to go theor own economic ways. The era of 'big oil serving, central government determining, fortunes of the Nigerian' is......over. Those screaming 'one Nigeria' have yet another nut lost from their wagon wheel.....it is the way to go. We will not all die in this filthy hole. If they don't want to reform, they will be left behind.....that is, the establishment, the owners of Nigeria.....restructuring by default.

While Anambra is doing a very good job, and some other states like Enugu and Ogun are too, in terms of vision, productivity, diversity, and complexity, the closest state to the FG, is Lagos, or should I say the closest governmental institution to Lagos is the FG (Lagos out-performs the FG by ratio in all ramifications).

That said, the FG can learn/glean from any country, state, Local government, corporate body, or individual.

BTW, BMB is just a clownish hypocrite anyway. Who takes him serious?
