* Continues* MEAN WHILE BACK IN ALLEN AVENUE The night workers were out carrying on with their business. They loudly called out to passersby " Fine boy you no go come f*uck!" " Oga this one fresh oo" " My boyfriend come f*uck na!" somewhere down the street in front of Hilton bus_stop, two of the hustlers were digging it out, a crowd of co_ workers had gathered. " Ashawo like you! you go f* uck my man! you f*uck my sure man" one said in a thick warri accent. " Your mama na hin be ashewo! your to.to no sweet reach my own! You fit get sure man?!" The other countered back in her heavy benin accent. They exchanged words hotly and they soon resorted to blow and rendering each other unclad. In another corner, the girls were dancing to the beats coming from Pekas " na persin pikin! Persin pikin! Ashana na persin pikin ooo" they chorused at the top of their lungs rubbing their puvssy. Sometimes a man would come pick them but on getting to the location they would meet five men or more in the room. Refusal to get down with all six men would spell trouble for them, sometimes some men lay with them and refuse to pay or beat them to a pulp. Sometimes when they get there the perverted man would go bring his dog and order them to lie down. People jeered loudly at them when passing by, police officers arrest them sometimes and rape them after collecting the money they might have made for that night. So many of the workers fell into the hands of ritual killers, sometimes jealous wives bathe them with acid. So why don't they just quit? some were in the profession because they were being forced to, others were in it to pay their tution fees, some were widows with many mouths to feed with no other source of income, some were in it only for the thrills and fun, some were in it to care for their old parents or siblings. So why don't they just quit? have you ever been addicted to anything before? once you accept that first payment for selling your body its like you have entered into an oath with the devil, the thought of making N50 thousand naira or more in a single day keeps pushing you back, the thought of going to work for someone when you could easily make more in a hour makes you forget all the reasons prostitution is not good. So you promise yourself to do it for just one more time, one more time, but you keep going back every night. Nobody missed the young light skinned ibo girl that dresses in Kanye west' s designs, her ex friends from the village couldn't be bothered, her roomie had retired so she had nobody watching out for her or anyone having sleepless nights over her or is there? Story continues......... What's your views on prostitution? Like, share and comment. PS. Please don't quote the whole write up, leave a comment and i will do my best to reply. Thanks. 25 Likes 7 Shares |

Well done bibijay, As for my view on prostitution, i try not to condemn people, cos not everyone had it rossy or fair opportunity, some people grew up in family were to eat was a problem, they would have a meal, and not know which day the next meal would come. Such harsh realities of life do make people desperate, and ready to sell their body just to make some living. As for me, i don't like fvcking prostitutes, except once in a blue moon, and it happens that one olosho catches my fancy in the club, but in the morning, i always regret my actions, i just don't know why my spirit doesn't accept fvcking them, but i could have 5 girlfriends and fvck every weekend, and wouldn't feel remorseful atall, am yet to decipher why my spirit feels very bad whenever i chill with an olosho which happens once in a very long time 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hmm well let's see. Some are forced into it (b the promise of job somewhere) and later are put under curse by the traffickers to prevent rebellion and running away. Some enter it willingly Either way, I see it as bad as a Christian and I have never and will never patronise one. Once a girl gets in, getting out becomes difficult, especially if she now learns d ropes and d shortcuts. But I personally think the traffickers are worse than the prostitutes themselves. To make a 'living' from exploiting others in such way is unpardonable to me 4 Likes 1 Share |

I really don't support prostitution, no matter the situation. I think other avenues exist that one can rely on for survival 3 Likes 1 Share |

Whenever I see prostitutes, I'm quick to judge them. But after reading this story, I know better that not all of them are doing it for the love of it. Bibi I've never read any of your stories until now. from now henceforth, i'm so following you. As for those that quote a whole update just to comment, don't y'all know it's very annoying? 1 Like 2 Shares |

I don't blame or condemn prostitutes cos you don't knw what lead them to it. We all knw its bad considering the risks involved but if as an adult that is wat you choose to do, who am i to bame? Giving a fair chance, many of them would love to have a decent job though i can't rule out the possibilities of those doing it for fun but that is 1 out of 10. Everybody has got a story 1 Like 1 Share |

Chapter 4 Ifeoma Mom has been acting strange since the day dad left. She became so silent i was afraid to even breath in her presence for fear of bringing down her wrath on my head. I resumed school and lied that i had an accident. Only Juliet knew the truth, although i never told her anything she knew. She tried her best to cheer me up and sometimes i sleep over at their house. Mom wasn't bothered about me or anything related to me. Juliet' s family accepted me as one of their own, her mother was always buying us one treat or the other. Bro Jeff was also not left out of it, he bought me so many treats which i sneaked into my room to eat late at night. He also came to represent Juliet and i during PTA( parent_teacher) meeting. He bought my text books and paid my school fees. I missed my dad every day and as each day goes by i hoped he would come but slowly the light of that hope ebbed out. " Want to go to the mall later?" Juliet asked. We had decided to walk back home that Friday and we were in front of my gate. " Sure. Let me quickly go change out of my uniform" " Mind if i come with you?" " Yes but you have to be real quiet else my mother might get upset" We went into the compound gisting not knowing what shock was in store for me. Our flat was locked with a big padlock. " Your mom must have gone out" said Juliet. " We don't padlock our door, have not seen this padlock before either. " " Let's go to my place, maybe she went to pick Toby from school. " My eyes caught two Echolac boxes beside an old abandoned car in the compound. My heart caught in my throat. They were mine. I walked towards it and my friend followed behind. There was a note stuck in the middle of the handle. Ifeoma, I have left the country with Toby. Mom. No apologies, no explanation. How could she repeatedly punish me for a crime i knew nothing of? Juliet collected the note from me and led me to her house. *************************************************** Ebere " Hey" " Hi" " How are you today?" " Hurt. Everything hurt......what happened?" i whispered. My throat was dry. I hurt all over. " You were found unconscious by the roadside and brought to the hospital by some good Samaritan" Dayo said. " Let me go get the doctor" " No. Am fine......." I lied. " What are you doing here?" " I came to see my cousin who is a doctor here, i was waiting for him at the reception when the good Samaritans brought you in". " How long have i been here?" " A week. I will go get the doctor now" I wondered what ill fate brought Dayo back into my life, I had successfully gotten him out of my thoughts. how could life cruelly throw us together again. Tears streaked out of my eyes, my head was pounding fiercely, there were purplish bruises all over my arms. i vowed within me to quit the job if i ever get back ony feet. 14 Likes 5 Shares |
