One day we decided to go out on a date after work o. We were in this nice restaurant in Lekki, eating and laughing and gisting. And at the end of our nice date, he walked me to my car.

We stood next to his own car in the parking lot, talking and trying to fix a date for our next outing.

A security guard came and told this my guy that someone wanted to see him. Oga was not interested o. He asked the security man to hold on first. We kept talking.

The security guard came back a second time, looking worried, and asked the oga to come quickly. Oga warned the security man to leave him be.

This guy said he felt like kissing me. Me, I was just laughing and contemplating in my head whether he deserved to be kissed, abi only hug would do.

I turned around and there was a young lady standing and facing my new bobo.

I thought they were just friends o. Nope. Aunty introduced herself as the man's wife. Hia!

I looked at Oga as he was busy stammering. He told aunty that we were just friends. Then he said we were colleagues.

Aunty commanded him to follow her. He hesitated, and the young lady said 'do you want me to hit you?'

Nna eh, the speed with which I ran into my car and drove off eh, to avoid being bathed with acid.

The following day, this man had the guts to text me o. He apologised for the embarrassment. Then he asked if we would still see as planned.

Hay god! These men, please introduce yourselves well, so that if it is something the girl is interested in, she can at least be alert. Me, I like my face, I don't have energy for acid baths, biko!
