Confirdagency01: Privatize BRT. Prices will go up...but salaries will be paid. Oil above $100 per barrel.....will never happen again. So, Nigerians, work for thy kudi. 7 Likes |

dominique: So long as the government owns the BRT....the money won't be enough especially as the oil prices have fallen Privatizing it completely is the best option.....but that means that prices would go up, and Nigerians do not like that. Nigeria needs an economy free from reliance on oil money. 2 Likes |

I trust Ambode to address and fix this immediately ..BUT workers should be assured they will get their dues ASAP because Ambode is involved ..if it was a Buhari situation I would have told them to forget their money. |

crestedaguiyi: Oil prices for the Jona admin.....$110 on average. Oil prices for the Bubu admin $50 on average. That means that we are earning $60-70 less than what we were earning under GEJ...so naturally there would be insufficient money for everything in Nigeria. GEJ was not a better leader than PMB.....just used the oil money to hide the problems in our economy. He did not diversify or save. Of course...that does not mean APC is doing well either....they are waiting for oil to rise again (Myth!) instead of taking the road to industries...because such a road passes through austeirty(which most Nigerians do not like). If BRT was privatized, it would be earning enough cash to pay its workers. But the problem is....Nigerians don't like that. 4 Likes |

Okundaye4: No...it is what you get when your economy is linked to the price of the resource you are selling. Which means, when prices are high....you can pose with kudi. When prices of your resource are low....you are very very poor. The road out of this is the austerity-laden path to industries, where we spend more on power and transport, cut government spending, and end corruption. But you Nigerians want to party like it's 1979.... 4 Likes 1 Share |
