I am a bit worried... I have been a guest of this forum, but this time around I decided to create an account because of my sudden problem... I have admission already with my CAS. Although the document listed in my certificate is my bsc cert which is what they used to judge and give me admission. last week Friday, we got rubed and my mum's safe box which is where I have my certs was tempered with by the rubbers to the point that my cert which I didn't laminate got toiled with to the point of no recognition... the worst part of it is that I need to make my visa application and am confused... Although I have my statement of result, my transcript and a scanned copy of my result which is in my mailbox. I have sent a mail to my school which is yet to be replied till now... please I want to ask what should I do? can those be submitted alongside my visa application? or should I get a letter from the school. because I was told by one of my friends that for me to get a new certificate from the school will still take some time. am really worried.

So sorry about what happened. I would advise you still contact your school, that is your best move. You cannot submit something different from what has already been listed on your CAS or you might be denied visa by the VO.

If your school is not replying on time, it is most likely because of the numerous number of applications they are dealing with at the moment. I would suggest you call them. All the best.

I was at the Abuja Centre for my interview last week and I overheard someone asking one of the staffs if he could submit the photocopy of his documents. The staff said he could but it's better if he submitted the originals but he can submit the copy too as long as they're real. Why not just call your school? You'll get a reply faster.

thank you so much. I have not called anyway but I will try that my only worry is the length of time it will take for me to be given another one if actually they will.

thank you so much for that... Honestly I don't want to take the risk of submitting copies that is why am confused meanwhile like I said earlier, I have my transcript, statement of result and I scanned my cert which is in my box. I called my hod this morning he said I should meet him for a reference... but that I should keep contacting the office of the registra. Although he expressed doubt if I can be issued another one before the next convocation period.

If your transcript is original, you can as well present that. It's usually transcript or original certificate (some do submit both)

Yes. If you've paid your full tuition, you only need to show funds for maintenance.

Please do they accept letter of attestation by the school with a copy of transcript attached. I hv my bsc certificate, a scanned copy of my pgd transcript on my laptop and a letter of attestation indicating that the certificate isn't ready. Can they be used?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Bourne007(m): 3:42pm On Aug 10, 2016
Depends on what's on your CAS and how your Uni has assessed you. They might not even include your pgd on your CAS. Have you gotten you CAS yet?

GOOD NEWS FOR APPLICANTS RACING AGAINST TIME.

"UK launches 24-hour visa service in Nigeria

The UK has launched Super Priority Visa Service in Nigeria to allow customers to process their applications within 24 hours.

The British High Commission, on its website, said the new service would meet the needs of those who require urgent service to travel.

The British High Commissioner, Paul Arkwright, expressed delight over the introduction of the Super Priority Visa service in Nigeria.

Arkwright said, “I am pleased to see the Super Priority Visa service being launched in Nigeria.

“This comes with an additional cost but is designed to give greater flexibility to our customers and underlines our strong commitment to make improvements to the visa services we offer.

“We expect this new service to be particularly useful for business. We understand that business opportunities and urgent requirements can arise at very short notice.

“We recognise this and want to facilitate such travel to the UK with this new super-fast service.”

The High Commission said the introduction of the service allowed customers greater flexibility to choose from a number of visa products to meet their needs.

“It is offered alongside our current Priority Visa (front of queue processing five to seven-day) and standard (15-day) services.

“The UK is the only European country to offer a visa decision in 24 hours.

“The Super Priority Visa service is aimed largely at key business customers and those needing to travel urgently by providing a visa decision for collection at the Visa Application Centre the working day following submission.”

It said the service costs 750 Pounds in addition to the visa fee and would be available to eligible customers applying in the Abuja and Lagos Visa Application Centres.

The High Commission said those applying in the “Visitors” or “Points Based System Tier 4” are eligible to use the Super Priority Service.

It said appointments are available from Mondays to Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Fridays from 8.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Abuja and Lagos centres only.

“Extending the Super Priority Visa service to Nigeria is another example of how the UK is leading the world in the provision of premium visa services for those coming to the UK to visit, do business or to study."

Don't be relieved yet. You must submit the exact document stated on your CAS. Ask your school to change the name of the document to that of the transcript. It should take them just a couple of hours
