Need i remind you that work was ongoing on the road and actually had to stop when GEJ lost the election

Besides this new initiative is actually to show the FG (to their shame) that the igbos has decided to take their destiny in their hands.

This is a novel idea initiated by an Igbo man who through his private firm brought the Chinese company, secured approval from the state governors concerned and currently waiting for the FG's approval to continue with the project. (hopefully the government of change will not frustrate it)

For the records this is one of the reasons the igbos are clamouring for true federalism and our quest for unity With the niger delta people is because we share common ideology when it comes to resource control

Even if President Buhari builds the Second Niger Bridge, Opens a seaport in Onitsha, completes the Enugu - Onitsha expressway, dualizes the Obosi - Amawbia expressway and opens an Airport in Awka, they still will say GEJ was the next best thing after Jesus, the Pope and Father Tansi.
