Hello house,
Pls I need the guru in the house to guide and advise me.
Am intending to apply for Canada tourist visa which I prefer to go for online visa application. I have 5 years UK, 2years USA visa and Schengen visa though hv applied 2014 Bt my application was declined after 75days.
My question is that, am I going to attached all the required documents including my statement of acct which has abt 25 pages. Better still can someone help me with the documents I need to attach, how to attach and compress it to my application online.
While waiting for quick reply, thanking you all in anticipation.

Take hard copies there, its usually my prefered option.

You may be right. I remember the day shadeebee78 was also complaining of the endless wait, blaming herself for not doing paper route. CIC approved her visa 2 days later and her passport was requested. Being panicky is understandable sha, e no easy!

Hahahaha. I just dey share experience oo. I've always applied via paper route without much delays though. Maybe I'm lucky. I have cousins too with same experience. If you also read from the beginning of this thread to where we are now(pp 51 or so) you'd see that people with paper route confirmed it was faster. I've done online route before and it was because I needed to travel within 20 days of my application and I needed my passport. It took about 50 days, after I Don forget say I travel come back sef, before dem send me approval email. I understand you're kidding me, lol. We're waiting for the good news bro

Good Evening house! I just want to know if there is any other means one can travel to Canada without going through the Quebec Skilled Worker Programme? Because i have tried to submit my online form since 20th of June but Couldnt i even have to pay a firm called Canadim to help submit my application during the 16th of August few days back, but received an email that they tried their best but couldnt get me submitted. Now the firm is telling me that they will re-access my files to know if am qualify to apply for any other programme. Please a Graduate of Engeering in Mechanical Engineering wishing to travel to Canada to better his life and of the family, which programme do you think apart from Quebec Skilled Worker Programme which will be reopened next year, can i apply for? because waiting till next year will not be feasible and may not be gurranteed since many people are applying at same time and based on what the Canadim law firm told me on their email was that it is usually first come first serve process but due to high number of applications that was received that another pattern was adopted which was Lottery. So please people that are experince should please guild me on what to do. Thanks as i wait for your advise.

Good morng house...kudos to you all for doing dis great work by stretching your helping hands, God will reward u greatly.
please here is my case: I want to apply for canada visiting visa with my passport being stamped with cancelled dubai residence visa. Well I went to dubai in 2014 thinking of getting a job in my interior field, but I was wrong. I ended up in hotel,so I decided to resign n returned back home after 6months, then I had my visa cancelled but with no bans.
I recently applied for US visa but denied due to having no strong family ties here in nigeria..pls what chance do I hold with canada embassy?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

Sorry about all you've been through. Strong ties also relates to having a job in Nigeria. Do you have assets or commitments that you can prove strong ties with?

While waiting for others to respond, you could visit : https://www.gov.uk/transit-visa/overview . Click on "Check if you need a Visa".

Its quite comprehensive and covers scenarios where you may or may not pass through border control.
