My Experience With SARS This Morning- Bleechreport by mayour16(m): 1:39pm On Aug 21, 2016 |
It was a beautiful Sunday morning when I decided to travel back home from school. Just as I got to Idofian, Kwara state, the commercial bus I chattered was stopped by SARS; I and another young boy were asked to come down for thorough search. I was not surprised because this won't be the first time I'm witnessing this but it has never happened to me before. My bag was searched and nothing was found. 'which work u dey do?' asked the SARS officer. 'I'm a student sir' 'wey ur phone' 'It's dead Sir ' I responded. My phone was then taken to their vehicle and boosted. After a while it came up and was also searched but they found nothing. After this, one of them said he is suspecting me to be a 'yahoo boy' and I will have to follow them to their office. I was shocked but confident. I said OK, let's go. Just when we were to move, their boss packed and he called me and asked for the problem. I explained myself and he asked me to go while he started blasting the officers. But what if he didn't come? What if I was taken to the station? Will I have paid 20,000 Naira to bail myself for doing nothing. Note, in Nigerian constitution, bail is free but not in Nigerian police or SARS offices. Chapter 4 of the Nigerian constitution, section 37 gives you the right to private telephone communication and telegraph but do this guys obey it? I thereby call on the high ranked officers of SARS to please do something about this. SARS is for armed rubbers and not for threatening innocent citezens.Thank you. source: www.bleechreport..com 1 Like |

Some of them actually crack tough crime cases but a bunch of them are not less a criminal. The most dreaded police dept., if you ask me. May we never run into them or they run into us. 1 Like |
