jakeporeshenko: "I wonder what the Israelis were smoking when they built the RAM MK APCs?". Each time i see these vehicles they always manage to look uglier than the last time. "They got a face, not even a mother can love". I mean, look at this ambulance variant, ..........WTF is that? Damn ugly vehicle. 3 Likes |

Henry240: Honestly I must commend the NAF, on putting more effort on locally/home based tech's. I remember vividly the 1st NAF UGV meant to detonate I.E.D m, was without radio frequency jammers . Now we are seeing UGV with jammers, these shows continuous effort in developing indigenous technology. Good work Nigeria airforce institute of technology. 2 Likes |

Henry240:Hahaha don't kill me. The only thing worst than the group of individuals that conceived this vehicle is the group of individuals that used their countries money to purchase it. This is the kind of vehicle that even if you are given as a gift you should shake your head and say "thanks but no thanks". 1 Like |

jakeporeshenko: LOL! I don't even know what works for this vehicle. The vehicle's armour is also no good. Our Otokar Cobras can take more punishment than the RAM MK. The Chadians have a couple units which they use in anti-BH COIN ops. The levels of damage BH doles out on them each time they come into contact is unbelievable. Glasses shattered and armour torn by rounds. It's a terrible, terrible APC. 1 Like |

craziebone:patrolling the gulf isnt much work cus we partner with other west African navies and we could port to resupply at designated points along friendly coasts. So yes even our brown water navy can monitor the gulf and we even hightech surveillance assets like satelites, the ATRs and there is regional awareness and communication system hosted in nigeria for regional navies sincr 2011. |

bidexiii: The Nigerian Air Force has done tremendously well in technology development. This current UGV is a vast, vast improvement on the earlier prototype. Even without the signal jammers, everything about this vehicle "just gives". I just want them to commercialise these things they keep developing. Fetch in money, fund additional projects, grow bigger. - Amebo (I - III ) - Gulma ( I - V ) - Ichoku hand launched UAV - Bomb detonating UGV ( I - II ) - Transforming NAF Air Beetle Basic Trainers into Drones. It is very clear, the Air Force Institute has done well. The Air Force needs to sell these stuffs, also bring back the Air Expo. 1 Like |
